It's a solo game but that's why I love it. It's very chill, if you're not on top of your gear progression nobody's yelling at you. You can abandon it for weeks then come back and there's not 3 tiers of raids you have to catch up with. It's always there and you don't feel like you're ever too late for anything.
Yeah, it's a good design. You can socialize as much or as little as you want. It's nice to have team content but in most MMO's it's usually a couple of veteran players complaining about how the new players are incompetent and dragging the team down.
One of the reason I like the game. 210 hours in 4 weeks and first time playing MMO because I don't like the first M in the MMO. But in BDO you don't even notice there are other people. I turned off notifications, chat and hid other players when needed. Just me and my pickaxe.
I like the solo gameplay multiplayer flexibility of this game. This game I can always come back to after a few months of not playing and enjoy natural role playing mechanics with amazing graphics.

They can be used for energy batteries (they share same max energy), they can be placed at world / field boss locations, especially ones that take time to travel to such as kutum & nouver, they can be used for specific life-skills. You have great videos! I really enjoy your content!! I really wish black desert online console, would give even a portion of the amount of content and attention that PC gets. So many people are quitting console black desert online because we have two little content. We don’t have life mastery, we do not have any higher level grind spot other than hysteria/aakman/Kratuga/trees/gyfin. That’s literally all our “high end” grind spots. We don’t have seasonal characters We don’t have caphras There’s literally nothing to work towards once you get full pen gear.... 😕
OMG!! I just started watching your videos this morning and they have been a game changer for me! I'm fairly new to BDO and also a suuuuuper casual weekend warrior, and it has been very difficult for me to really dive into this game because I have been so overwhelmed by all that there is to learn and do in this game. I was getting discouraged by the thought that all there was was grinding and getting high level gear and raiding which I have never liked, am also not a PVPer so I was bummed. Also like you I am a huge life-skiller, I have always been a gatherer in all the games I play and naturally I started off gathering right away in BDO but again was overwhelmed with all these items, lack of knowledge of what to do with them and paltry storage to hoard them LMAO! Your videos have certainly opened up so many possibilities and pathways for me, but THIS video right here.... THIS video... has truly finally broken through the boundary wall and fired up my enthusiasm for playing BDO. THANK YOU! Danke! Gracias! Merci! Obrigada! Grazie! Arigato gozaimasu!

I've been properly playing for about a week now(console) and have just reached awakening for my warrior, I love how well all the systems in the game are thought out but if there is one thing I have to complain about it is the lack of visual character progression outside the pearl shop. I love slowly gearing up and making my characters look more badass as I adventure in rpgs but I have been using the same basic iron plates as armor for like 30 levels, the gear upgrade system does not help this as it promotes using and upgrading one armor set throughout the entire story. At the start i loved how every new set i got from the main quest added new small details to my character but now it is just boring as they even stopped doing those minute changes, high and low rarity armor should not look the exact same. As someone who loves visual changes as a mark of character growth it has seriously thrown me off the game.
My BF has the same issue, games having early-game glamour systems or "one and done" gear that upgrades numbers only really diminish the sense of accomplishment for him. One thing I will say with BDO is there is 'milestone' visual updates: you can get boss gear (after season if you're a seasonal character, with drops/market if not) which looks different to your upgraded levelling stuff; there's the outfits you get as quest rewards through MSQ or through crafting or whatever; there's multiple sets you might want for different things (lifeskill gear, boss kill gear, grinding gear) which have their own tiers with visual differences - so you might start with your cooking gear from the luxury vendor, then get some Loggia, then Manos, and it looks different - and you can build all your "off-standard" sets separately to have that visual progression. It's not as clean as moving from 'clown pants' to 'set gear' in more Western MMOs, but there is some pay-off to be found if you're one of the not-uncommon types who needs that visual feedback.
Awesome, I'm new to the game, been playing 2 months...still haven't figured out how to do the Fail stacking for my Tuvala gear and accessories...do you have a guide or can recommend one?
Great and insightful vid as always, not sure if this is something you have done or not but is it possible to train a t8 horse to courser at prof 8. I ask because I notice on this particular character you are prof 6 training, did you buy a dream tier or have you trained your own t8 to courser at all ?
Do you know anything about Altar of Blood? I just finished the quest for it due to the recent event they had. It seemed fun. I’ve yet to do the normal version of it but this is the type of content that gets me really excited to do with friends. It’s tiered so the challenge will always be there and there is potential for great loot at the higher tiers I hear. We’re getting our Tuvula sets complete on the season server to take it on!

Its surprisngly difficult to find friends to play this game with honestly appaling, the only to is find a guild that is active, no guild stay active for like longer than a month from what ive seen. I'm sorry, but when peope talk about "things to do at max level" and end-game content none of these things are what they mean. They talk about more big-picture stuff, and all of this is extremely casual

I guess the world bosses sound cool, but it doesnt seem like it has the sense of accomplishing a challenge or something like that. Shouldve looked into it more, im 60 and kinda dont see the point in playing :/
As someone that only plays solo, grinding mobs for a long time just makes the game feel boring, mixing life skill is a good idea I would add processing to the AFK activities you can make a good profit especially if you gather any type of timber or logs or you can try trading life skill to crafting box in calpheon and trade in valencias, will take only will see profit in trading from master + but it's still something different to do. Also if you do fishing trade in valencia easy to get there by boat. Have fun my dudes

Would love to see an updated version of this video with the guild bosses & Boss blitz & dungeons and things you would not believe the amount of ppl I come across who say the game looks cool but I didn’t pick it up because I was told it has no dungeons or bosses and you do nothing but grind still jn 2024
i dont enhance either unless i cant help it (ship gear) and i make money by bartering with farms, cooking and fishing as passive income. Grinding is actually a nice break for me sometimes :D
The content you put together is always excellent, it translates over to Xbox console for me very well. Having said that, I think this is your BEST guide & advice ! Take a look around you , then kill and harvest it >.
You have great videos! I really enjoy your content!!
I really wish black desert online console, would give even a portion of the amount of content and attention that PC gets.
So many people are quitting console black desert online because we have two little content.
We don’t have life mastery,
we do not have any higher level grind spot other than hysteria/aakman/Kratuga/trees/gyfin. That’s literally all our “high end” grind spots.
We don’t have seasonal characters
We don’t have caphras
There’s literally nothing to work towards once you get full pen gear.... 😕
Can you explain the boss scrolls that you get them from the black spirit from the daily and the weekly quests because there are 2 type of them green and orange and what to do with them and how. Thanks and wish you good luck ❤️
The orange scrolls needed to be combined to create one scroll while the green one dont need to be combined to be used
Lol "You can go and explore with your friends" .... are friends cash shop item? Can you make a guide how to farm them, thanks :)
You make friends duh all my friends play gta im in a bored Faze of gta atm but your supposed to make new friends on different games if your other friends dont play it
@@plagues-haze-3987 i back this . None of my friends play games anymore really espically games with dedication to fully understand it to a degree. I joined a friendly guild and made in game friends and it wasnt hard. and cost nothing.
You can make friend after you reach processing Guru 1..
That bartering system seems very cool to me. Im coming from EvE online and when I wasnt scanning or exploring I was hauling.
Awesome, I'm new to the game, been playing 2 months...still haven't figured out how to do the Fail stacking for my Tuvala gear and accessories...do you have a guide or can recommend one?
I have a guide on upgrading tuvala gear: th-cam.com/video/GGS9ZOA8hC4/w-d-xo.html
Great and insightful vid as always, not sure if this is something you have done or not but is it possible to train a t8 horse to courser at prof 8. I ask because I notice on this particular character you are prof 6 training, did you buy a dream tier or have you trained your own t8 to courser at all ?
Hello evil..what graphic settings did u used? Can u recommend high quality graphic setting with higher fps. Thank you. 🙏🏻
Remastered, and I only get 40-50 FPS
You forgot to mention about guild stuff as an additional way to parpticipate with guild missions and guild bosses.
Is there any AP videos after level 61
Do you know anything about Altar of Blood? I just finished the quest for it due to the recent event they had. It seemed fun. I’ve yet to do the normal version of it but this is the type of content that gets me really excited to do with friends. It’s tiered so the challenge will always be there and there is potential for great loot at the higher tiers I hear. We’re getting our Tuvula sets complete on the season server to take it on!
Long question short, is there PvE content like Dungeons, Raids, Fractals or Path of Exile Maps as example where you have boss fight at the end?
Sort of, dungeons are releasing this year, there are server wide world bosses as well as personal bosses
@@EvilDoUsHarm Coming this year? Cool, I will look in to that, thanks. Also your video perk my interest in sense "If nothing else, I could just explore whole continent/s" sounds like something to do to see if I would end up playing more ^_^
See people don't believe me when I tell them "Fashion is endgame"!!?😂😂
Shoulda mentioned La Orzeca. That alone fueled my progress for so long.
I got question
If u are end game player and have the gear and stuff u wanted then why will I need to farm and earn more money? What else is there to buy or work for?
Some geared players grind money for future updates, some grind to make their alts have better gear and some just wants to have money hahaha
10:50 what is a premium member?
He means having an active Value Pack
Farmville file is in datamining the game, is this game in the farmville universe.
Do you have any intention to make Tent Guide videos ?
Me in 2018: Why you quitting Blade & Soul guys? BDO has no dungeons, it looks boring (join us!, they say)
Me in 2019: Come play Maplestory 2 with me guys ;-; they have cool mounts, instruments, epic outfits and dungeons (haha, just join us in BDO! they say)
Me in 2020: Welp MS2 shut down, B&S is dead. What should I do? BDO looks so boring (JOIN US, they scream)
Also me in 2020: *cries because there's too much to do in BDO* (Welcome friend :D , they say)
What lmao
it do be like that eh?
how can start "The Legendary blacksmith" questline?, its not available when I get there.
i wish PSO2 NGS are like this, having so many option on how to enjoy the game and not just killing monster everytime you log in or afk in the lobby doing absolutly nothing until log off
Hey there, how do you get the icons for bartering on the islands, mine doesnt ever have them? Thanks
how do you do that with your cannons? you don't have to stop your boat and control the cannons manually?
I have an epheria caravel, the cannons are controlled by the captain. Epheria and bartalli sailboats are player controlled. You can have 2 friends on the cannons though on the other boats, which makes for more fun roll playing
@@EvilDoUsHarm oh I see! I was just gonna get the improved epheria sailboat hoping that it has the same cannon as this one. Haha friends
Improved epheria has them as well
Nice
Well u got fair points, but black desert being kinda solo is a bit of true since the content u have available isnt that much group friendly compared to many other mmorpgs, but for sure there is plenty to do appart from grinding or pvp lmao, I love lifeskilling myself. Atm having fun on season server starting from 0 since i didnt have combat gear and only lifeskill gear x)
There is plenty to do
So after watching the video, i decided to grind polly and harvest their mushrooms and pvp everyone that gets on my way in the seasonal pvp servers. Keywords:grind/pvp 🙃🙃
Land of the morning light before the land of the morning light ?
I literally never play bdo focusing on lifeskilling, pve or pvp. My favourite is exploration and char design lol. I do R key through quests because I found them wordy :(
And yes fashion is the true end game and my most ranked lifeskill.
I joined a few guilds hoping to game with others but that didn't happen
Very disappointed
I have to link this to some friends purely for the ending. Saying how it's not a solo game
Its surprisngly difficult to find friends to play this game with honestly appaling, the only to is find a guild that is active, no guild stay active for like longer than a month from what ive seen. Most guilds dont ever have people in voice or anything. Xbox used to be active but now the lfgs are all ads for their dead guilds unfortunately. Its unforunate it was actually pretty fun to play and talk about the game with people now its nearly impossible to find people to talk to on this game.
Damn I wish I had friends to play this game with xD
Me too
FPS - Fashion Per Second is a thing!
Do you have guild and if so how do I join?
Wow world and field bosses sounds cool but no pve?
Fashion xDD
Love it
why is there no "Like All" option for subscribed channels. yeesh
Nice content as always,Btwcan you please make a video about the most efficent way to use the ressources you get from the worker empire? I have gathered 10 of thousand of ressources and yet i dont know what to craft with it
You can press F2 and start looking for stuff you can craft with different items. Check the marketplace to get an idea of the thing you are making is worth it or not. Keep planning for weeks/months and thats totally fine. Its more fun if you figure it out yourself.
@@nafeezzawad6381 you can also cook!
@@Angel-ij4bk Yes of course.. i plan on pushing for guru cooking from master 4 in a single session. So i am gathering/stocking up mats for 30k valencia meals. I spent alot ( i mean ALOT) of time just planning how to do it most efficiently. As my play time is limited, i think it's almost over a month since i started working towards this plan. but i got no rush :3 I'll get there eventually.
Alright guys i'll give it a try thanks^^
In short, nothing. 13 min of video to say "grinding more". This video has nothing to do with the title "What to do after Level 61?" Everything you've said is either grinding or related things to grind and these are things everyone have done before reaching lvl 61. I feel cheated with this video
Wait, you can steal outfits from npc's?
I was also wondering about this. Anyone has more info on stealing outfits from npc's?
This gave me the info I needed to uninstall, thanks ❤
What is the true endgame content, pve or pvp, you say grind vs pvp but all i see is that BDO is pvp especially at endgame.
Spend hrs at mirumok for lvl 62
So in conclusion when youve done all of these things, all thats left is pvp and grinding, gotcha.
I'm still waiting on the video explaining how to do your hair like your character's hair.
I explored the land now i wanna explore the ocean
There are a bunch of quests that give you epheria cogs, and you can buy a bartalli sailboat for 10 million from croix or proix in velia, I forget the NPC name!
Bdo in the most simple explanation….skyrim online. Not eso skyrim online kinda
I started this game last week and I felt this immediately after a couple of hours, as a player who had 5 years of play time in Skyrim that made me smile.
you can group with 90 people of your guild with camo and kill people in the desert
This game has so many things combined....sadly its often better to fokuss on 2 or 3 things making them good instead of doing 20 things in average lvl.
The fashion is endgame, but you must buy all fashion items? That's stupid.
Breeding products? Are y'all sellin' horse seman?!?
I'm sorry, but when peope talk about "things to do at max level" and end-game content none of these things are what they mean. They talk about more big-picture stuff, and all of this is extremely casual
This sounds tremendously boring, but thank you for explaining... I wanted to get in to it when I played and figured I missed something.
Ngl i feel a little disappointed, i was hoping for endgame raiding or something like that. I guess the world bosses sound cool, but it doesnt seem like it has the sense of accomplishing a challenge or something like that. Shouldve looked into it more, im 60 and kinda dont see the point in playing :/
12:00 bahahah bold of you to assume I have friends
As someone that only plays solo, grinding mobs for a long time just makes the game feel boring, mixing life skill is a good idea I would add processing to the AFK activities you can make a good profit especially if you gather any type of timber or logs or you can try trading life skill to crafting box in calpheon and trade in valencias, will take only will see profit in trading from master + but it's still something different to do. Also if you do fishing trade in valencia easy to get there by boat.
Have fun my dudes
