I personally don’t like special weapons but I use them when I need to but for the most part I run sidearm (devils ruin) and a hc or a pulse this week been using a. Scout though
Devils Ruin is pretty close to a special with the charged fire version.
Running it with a sniper is like having a sniper and fusion without sharing the ammo.
@@TJW-YT well there are some key differences devils ruin even when charged has an actual ttk unlike fusions Whitch are near instant and has a longer charge time then any fusion but I get what your saying to be fair I use in it base sidearm mode just as much as beam mode also it rewards you for aiming for crits unlike fusions
My go to loadout for most maps is DMT/Vigilance Wing + Forgiveness, it Works Surprisingly well
I have played Destiny for so long that not having a special weapon feels... wrong. Off.
So I run Revision Zero w/ an SMG or sidearm. It hasn't failed me yet, but let's be real a monstrous pulse like Rev isn't going to fail anyone...

I'm bad in general, but I'm extra bad with special weapons.
But I do try to go with a long range weapon and something more suited to close to mid range. Using two pulses like the one person you showed seems...odd.
That's basically what he means. Wallah isn't saying you _need_ to run a special, just that there's a lot of people who run double short range or double long range and it doesn't make sense lol

OK, there’s a reason I run double primary. I perform equally with a short-range special or a short-range primary, so I figure if I go down and get revived, I can fight at full effectiveness again because I still have ammo.
That’s not the point though. He’s saying some people don’t know how to run their weapons. Aka: long range pulse and longer range scout or handcannon and sidearm.
Running double primary is perfectly normal if almost all ranges are covered. Lol

45 handling on any gun is a bare minimum and is what my main guns have. 45 just feels good on everything anything above 45 is even better but if a gun doesn't have 45 i just put on a dex mod.. thank god they only nerfed the melee range on ophidians

ngl wallah, i miss playin this game so much & the destiny franchise is my favorite game franchise off all time, but the community is just so toxic, & i dont mean to come into you comment section with the negativity but allow me to explain my frustrations of when i did play, i quit around last year, after ive been playing for ab 7 bc ov the course of 7 years, yes 7, i have only known 1 raid, (VoG), @ 1 dungeon (Prophecy), & from this point, some of yall may be like “wtf”, but listen, 7 YEARS, & i thought to myself when i was playin, “i must be shxt”, but i kept playing bc my love of the game, so eventually, i told myself, “ i want to get from a casual gamer (which now tht i look @ it, i wasn’t even a casual player even tho i played 24/7, bc “casuals” know all of the dungeons & raids, or most of them) to a hardcore player”, so i wanted to learn all the raids & dungeons so i could actually enjoy pve instead of gettin trashed in pvp all the time, turns out, its not possible, literally, bc NO ONE was willing to be patient & teach me, im talkin ab i mess up like the 2nd time & ppl gettin frustrated & leaving (when they knew they were to be teaching me), i missed out on a lot of endgame stuff bc i didnt have certaint requirements (these requirements being weapons i didnt have bc i didnt kno raids or dungeons & no one would teach me), so after awhile, accepting the fact tht i would never progress, i quit the game, & haven’t been back since, my
whole point of making this is bc ive been really debating on playing this game again now tht im back home frm active duty & have spare time, but i just dont know bro. i want to continue playing the game franchise tht really captured my heart as a child but i just cant knowing i wont get anywhere more than where i was, i also know some of u might say “there’s plenty of tutorials of raids in dungeons on yt”, but trust me when i say tht im a hands on learner, ive tried many tutorials from different youtubers, but they never helped, the only reason ik the dungeon & raid i do, is bc i played it so many times (& its sad to say i learned them first days they came out so ppl were forced to teach me bc they had to learn themselves), i mean tht is the only ones ppl would be willing to play with me knowing they would have to teach me others.
