- This one looks like a longer episode because in addition to the normal antics, it includes a full map drive/tour. I want to find a place to carve out our farm and decided we better go for a drive to see if we can find a spot...enjoy!

There's so much to see on this map. Nothing beats a drive in the countryside on a beautiful day!
It’s a great map to drive around… I find that each corner of the map is a very different feeling. Whoever designed the map did a great job mixing different areas to give you some good variety. Now I just have to figure out where I want to put my flag in the ground and build my farm.
I wouldn’t watch a playthrough like this from any other creator, but you make it hilarious; at times I couldn’t stop laughing

And I had a great time driving around. The map has a great variety of forests and fields mixed with a really cool town. There is a lot to look at.

You're correct sir. I'm doing salad in the 200HP challenge. It is a good constant income but it's not going to go crazy for you. Or better put, it will make you a few thousand each month but you won't be making massive strides with it. Still I'll likely go back to doing salad in this series eventually as well as it will help pay for that loan interest 😅

I believe that is a bug with water. I remember seeing that before on another series.
It get's worse in the next episode...so frustrating.
I would love to see a mod or in the next FS game where it creates a path/driveway where you run/drive repeatedly.
You mean like a landscape tool? I'd like to see more "construction' tools, curbs, etc. Would be cool.

there's a mod "Map Objects Hider" - can hide most of the stuff on the map

@@northernfarmsim for items that came with the map: non-placeable items (buildings that you can not interact with, not shops, productions, farm buildings where you can open doors and whatnot), most decorations, roads, trees.
for items you've placed: if it can be sold in a building mode (not everything can be sold after placing btw), then this mode instead of hiding will give you the option to sell
@@s1vtre oh wow, I had no idea there was a mod for that. Wonder what the map would look like with everything gone….. I kinda like the mod the way it is short of the ground cover.
@@northernfarmsim well I mean if you wanna get rid of everything, it would be quicker and easier to figure out giants editor :)
I tell you, for simple things like replacing a few objects, it's super intuitive. for advanced things like dealing with placeables, editing ground textures or farmlands, still doable but you'd have to spend quite some time in a tutorial land

maybe turn on free terraforming, i can hear your internal struggle to make the place pretty (although it´s funny listen to you "trying" to resist the temptation of painting around the greenhouses)
The struggle is real! It’s all I can do not to just paint and gravel everywhere. But I think it’s going to be a long winter so I better save some money.
