  • Hello and welcome to episode 4! There's money to be made, new stuff to show you and we may be sitting on a potential timebomb mod conflict....time to troubleshoot before the map implodes on us!

    There's a secret underground tunnel between the storages. I've seen this several times and it's why I don't install certain things close to the silos. There's no worry, the amount is right. Take it out of one, it comes out of both.

    It sounds strange with the BGA, fermentingsilo and silo, I think they are to close 🤷‍♂️😊
    I think you will use the slurry yard for your digestate? 😊😅
    I think about that to.

      I was thinking slurry yard until Zorch brought up fertilizer production using digestive…might lol at that instead.

      I will change out my fermenting silo, Im not happy with that.

    I'm sure you have arrived at a solution since recording this episode, but I agree that the BGA does get weird when too close to silos. I had a similar problem on Calm Lands with my initial placement of that BGA, once I moved it things were fine. Hope you are keeping well, all the best, Sarge.

      The solution was to destroy and replace things, lol. Always a good solution 👍👍

    Nice to see a new episode of yours, hope the other gamefiles are ok since you wrote that you had a bit of a hiccup

      Hey, thanks, good to be posting again. Unfortunately, it looks like one of the current series is going to be taking a bit of a turn because of the hiccup… But actually, I think it’s going to turn out to be a wonderful turn in the end. Stay tuned just working through the details.

    Welcome to one of the most confounding conundrums in FS22... I don't believe it has anything to do with the map. I have encountered the same infinite product transfer loop countless times, on countless maps. The only solution I have come up with is keeping things far apart when placing them. It also seemingly appears when using some (not all) of the Oma Tana production mods if they are located too close to a silo storing material the production uses. So, watch out for that if you place down anymore of those.

      Yeah, super weird. A couple of people have commented that it’s just showing the material that you have and not giving you more or taking anything away… So if you put 10,000 L into the silo and then it shows there’s also 10,000 L in the BGA for example, you still only have 10,000 L as you take from one or the other totals will drop… Personally, I don’t want to test that for fear that my little Polish world will come crashing down on me, lol.

    It's not stored in the BGA, it's just close enough to pull it from the fermenter which is designed from a silo, some silo's on the game increase storage in productions and show in them automatically. So if you don't activate it, you will be fine. If you go to the fermenter you will see its in there and can be taken out

      Also to add, it's just the capacity, it's not a glitch. The only way you will hit the capacity is if you actually have it, so don't stress it. There is actually nothing going on lol

      @@topcatgaming5890 what do you make of the productions in the immediate area showing that they also have increased capacity? I get really nervous in the game when you start to see things happening like that and I’m basically just waiting for the save to implode, lol. You’ll see in the next episode, should be launching on, Saturday or Sunday, I swapped out that silo and all capacities seem to have gone back to what they originally were… I think I’m still suffering from some level of PTSD from back in the crazy days of FS 22 when you would go to unload a bale, and your trailer would launch itself into space, lol.

      @northernfarmsim Haha yeah I had a couple maps where I had equipment launch off map, so I have PTSD too, after yesterday's update, hopefully that's been fixed (we'll see). The productions can always be hit and miss honestly, I just either purposely limit how much I use them or just space them out, I feel your pain though, it can either make or break your own fun or immersion right

    Better then t.v..... i never try water but put a silo first then put a lil grass or straw in it. Then build anything related with straw/grass and it connect with everything around and share capacity. Did try with food but didn't work. Also mini bga has a bugg it consume straw but the amount stay the same (industrial bga same). Got some experiments running also 2 cowbarns close together make 1 manure pile !! I think its grid wise because more distance it will stop share the collective share and might be something with straw and grass as an activation in a silo. i have this with my 1200 cowfarm 4 barns. 1 with the collective share and close to silo. Also will funtion on any map with me as far as i tryed. Also the mod digital display, even showed me the greenhouse storage but in a diffrent color, but not showing in silo. So probably its flooding information lol just to pick up based on grids

      Sometimes it would be nice to just play the game and not have to worry about what a mod is doing or how to better utilize it, lol. It's never easy on FS22!

    Yup, that fermenter is a gamechanger. Jealous.
    You could take the approach I did in 200HP challenge and turn the digestate into solid fertilizer and then sell the solid fertilizer. HUGE money.
    How was the race, did they win?

      Oh yeah...? I guess I didn't pick up on that, converting digestate to fertilizer...will have to look into it. Maybe a better option then the slurry yard?
      And my 10 year old had his best result ever on the weekend (it was his 2nd race weekend ever, lol...). he really wanted a top 10 and managed a 9th in the first race and a 15th in the 2nd race after a crash...gave him a 13th overall score for the weekend and he was pumped. It was worth the 11 hours of driving over 2 days...lol. Next week it will be 12 hours of driving over 2 days...good times!

    That grain complex in the bottom right of the map is big, but there's several buildings in there with no collision. I got myself stuck going into a dead-end with one of the dolly trailers (I really, really struggle to back those up lol) and it just casually backed through the walls when it inevitably jackknifed on me. I tested it and was able to drive directly through some of them - couldn't see anything, of course, but who needs to see where they're going?
    By the way, what mod allows you to get straw from sunflowers? I've got the "straw from contracts" one but sunflowers still don't make straw, so I'm assuming it's a different mod (or maybe I've got one that's disabling it, which would be a pain to identify).

      Oh, ha ha. That must have sucked getting stuck in the building. And I’m with you, backing those trailers up is probably the hardest thing to do in the game!
      I’m pretty sure the mod is “extended straw crops” on ModHub… The additional crops don’t make a lot of straw but sometimes anything is better then nothing 😀😀
