- We are in the 60th Anniversary Year of GOLDFINGER and naturally there will be products for the Bond collector wishing to capture a piece of the movie. In this video I open some GOLDFINGER themed holiday gifts I received and review them in typical The Bond Experience minutia. You will see unboxings, first impressions, and be able to judge for yourself if these collectibles truly have the Midas touch!

When David is not running an advertising and marketing company, his hobby is The Bond Experience which is primarily a video blog where he discusses Bond experiences and the people and brands that help to create those experiences...
The mantra of living like Bond, one moment at a time emanates from a concept of experiencing the joy of collecting small moments in life that add up to amazing journeys and stories....whether it's through style, locations, literature, fitness, and the movies themselves the world of Bond is explored through its people and their stories.
Ultimately though, The Bond Experience channel is a celebration of the James Bond franchise and the many people that form a true community. Our core mission is to create a strong connection in the Bond community amongst all the fans, regardless of interest or demographic.

I’d rather spend the $$$ on a Lock & Co. Hatters Trilby, but I’m not a collector.
Props to David in working to keep content coming during this massive dry spell in all things Bond. That must not be easy.
I appreciate that!
Calvin Dyson just said “hold my beer” as dropped a one hour Bond ranking video on the same day
Goldfinger is THE Bond film as far as I'm concerned, and both the film and the book are part of the reason I fell in love with America. It's also just a great movie. I cite Goldfinger at least once a week as THE example of when a screenplay improved upon the novel it was adapted from.
Because of Fort Knox?
I love the ejector seat button, and thanks for the ASMR mention! LoL. It would be cool to have one you could replace your actual gear shifter in your car with. That hat is a museum piece and you definitely have the perfect setup for it to be displayed.
I agree about the shift!
Very neat! The first 3 bond films are excellent but Goldfinger has everything. I personally feel like Goldfinger is the 007 standard as to what a Bond film should be like and include.
Truly a classic!
Love at the opening when you said “Good Things Galore”.
Well played. Well played indeed.
I try...!
Can't believe it's 60 years old. I first saw Goldfinger as a double feature with Dr.No in 1974.
@davidrixson2654 Yeah, in the '70's from .72 on into late .'70's, I'd go and see, at an old big theater, THUNDERBALL and DIAMONDS are forever. Loved the way the Marquee had it up there in huge letters. The drive-ins also would have a James Bond Triple, sometimes quadruple bill-- FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE, GOLDFINGER, THUNDERBALL, YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE...we'd get out of there at 3am!! Good times. I feel, not sorry, but I regret that the kids have not had that communal and quality experience of watching Film on the Big Screen.
Been a bit!
At this point the Dave Z Bond collection has reached legendary proportions. It might be time to rent space and open the museum. The most extensive collection of Bond memorabilia in the world. Thank you.
60th anniversary Goldfinger, 50th anniversary The Man With The Golden Gun,
Its quite a year!
Wife got me a 1:24 scale model of the DB5 for Christmas. A much appreciated gesture for a dude just starting to collect Bond memorabilia.
Great video, David. Goldfinger is so iconic, I liked the ejector button more than I thought. It could come in handy at meetings. Oddjobs hat was massive. If that was to scale, I didn't realise how big his head was in the film.
I love the golden girl statue...great video
The steel-brimmed hat is a god-tier Bond prop.
Bond looks very cool in his suit post golf at Stoke Park. Would still look stylish today.
Agreed!
I am flabbergasted how impressive this Oddjob bowler hat is! Factory Entertainment have surpassed themselves here, the metal rim, the stands and the case 👌 I've still got to acquire the golden gun (my favourite of all the Bond props) Thank you David/ The Bond Experience for a wonderful video! 💯
Picked one up myself, it’s awesome!!! Now I am intrigued as to what else is coming 🤔
That is an exceptional piece. Very well put together and displayed.
The cardboard box Odd Jobs hat came in was a collectible in itself!
I agree!
Wow. Was on the fence about this one, but your video has me SOLD! Great fun review and can’t wait to be adding this into my collection. Goldfinger is my most favorite film, so it’s perfect!
Wow! Thank you for the review of those items. They are now a must-have😊
That's pretty cool David, glad you were able to grab that before they all sold!
I do wish the ejector button could send out a Bluetooth signal or something. How cool would it be to dim the lights to movie mode by flipping up the cover and pressing the button.
That would be epic.
Well that's a WOW !
Thank you!
I would recommend using the display box as dust is a real PITA for hats.
Will you be doing apart 2that includes the Q branch locator tracking device/the 3different coloured and amount placques from the casino scene in Goldfinger itself? 🤔😁👨💼
I've already done them on my TH-camcheck the older videos in search.
Great hat... If I'm right its also the 50th anniversary of the Man With the Golden Gun
When i was a young James Bond fan and people would ask me for a Bond film recommendation i would say Goldfinger. I don't know which i would recommend now.
Its a safe bet!
You would need to raid Fort Knox to pay for all these lovely items 😅 #OperationGrandSlam
Great video I enjoy your channel l. I have the Goldfinger big chief studios figures.. I really need to get that hat.. I’m actually getting a no time to die custom Paloma figure and trying to find a one that makes safin as well.. I really enjoy your channel. Keep up the great work
What watch today David?!
QOS OMEGA
Great Video.🍸
Much appreciated!
Amazing
Thanks!
Oh My 60th Anniversary of Goldfinger 1964-2024
The Tux on the stand
Is everyone aware that the Tuxedo Sean wore in the trailer was made for him in 1963 and worn in a film called ‘A Woman of Straw’
Sean after filming between August and October 63 just packed it away in his suitcase ready to wear in Goldfinger
Also similar with the grey suit but without the waistcoat
😍😍👍 👍 🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴🏴
I think some know!
There were many suits in that film which were replicated in Goldfinger
@@TheBondExperience
There was a news item last week in Britain regarding the Bond Films
The British Film Institute has gone ‘WOKE’ as well
‘Licence To Offend’ Film Season issues caution for ‘outdated’ language in James Bond Films
We cannot be upsetting the snowflake generation z now can we🫤🫤🫤
Are you aware of this across the pond?
I hope that when the next Bond film comes out it has not gone ‘woke’
🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴🏴
They have a good replica set of Solitaire's tarot cards too
Now if only they added USB to the ejector seat button replica so you could plug it into your computer and actually use it to activate some function.
How well does the hat fly?
The video colour still seems bleached white. I suggest you put it on a delicates wash next time.
For the 60th anniversary I’d hope the 4K UHD would finally be released with a proper transfer without issues and especially the original audio fully restored. Currently you have to go back to 1988 video releases for a better sounding mono track!
Nice review, and I’m sure the items are fantastic quality, but when you have been gifted them, as viewers it’s hard to accept that you are being 100% genuine in your opinion. But please keep up the great work.
I dont get where 007 gear is made? Its like some exclusive group for fans or something as its not advertised anywhere.
do you collect Bond's guns?
Oddjob and jaws, the best henchmen in entire franchise. Obs: grant for me is not the henchmen,is the villain of from russia...
OddJob's hat looks like The Fat Controller's hat.
I just watched the intro to goldeneye and it seemed non believable, have I got so used to the Craig realism that I can't enjoy traditional bond anymore? I need to be de Craiged!, discuss..
I like the first half of Goldfinger but when it came to the Fort Knox scenes things went rapidly down hill.
Has to be the worst prop replica I have ever seen. I stated this on its release.
Which one...the hat or the shift...and why?
@@TheBondExperience the shift or gear knob as it is correctly known as here in the mother country (😀) it doesn’t resemble the part in any way shape or form.
