This is because they had Daniel wearing smaller sizes for 'hero shots' and a more reasonable size for movement or action shots.

I saw my first Bond movie at age 10, at a Drive In in El Paso Texas…..with my parents….From Russia With Love….back in 1964? 65? Then, a few years later….my Dad took me to see Thunderball at a cinema in downtown El Paso. Fast forward (too damned fast, I think sometimes), I’m a retired Navy Officer, and retired from Federal Law Enforcement. My Dad, sadly has passed along, but I’m in my late 60s and still enjoy the hell out of 007 movies. I now live a minimalist lifestyle….I’ve had my fun. I still own a Jeep TJ, a pretty nice pick up and a classic Porsche. But I’m in the process of selling everything. And the few clothes that I will keep, (aside from my formal Navy Dress uniform and my Navy Flight Jackets) I want to be quality, timeless (I still work at staying in shape) and look good on me. I think I’m going to “pull the trigger” and get one of these suede jackets. Damn it all….they do look good! Bravo Zulu, well done….a great video, amigo!

Informative and well researched as always. Now I can finally order with confidence in the sizing, so many thanks. Since you took a medium for all of them, I was wondering if you still like the small for the C.R. leather jacket? Just want to be sure before wearing mine. I sent an email a week or so ago if you want to answer there.
You can go even more frugal and get a weatherproof Jacket in blue or black and you can get a similar feel to the Y3 just not quite screen accurate of course, but again a savings. I'd love to see you do a frugal Bond with regular brands to get the Bond look. I bet you could pull it off!
I like to go frugal on some items, like a Wool Peacoat and a Harrington jacket, you can find some real bargains that look the part, but Items like Barbour Commando jacket, sometimes you have to pay full price for the real thing because the cheaper alternatives either don't exist or they don't quite look like the item it is copying.
All three are amazing 👌🏽, just gotta get my savings up!

Brilliant, I am about the same size as you, only choice for me is to get the Harrington or invest a little bit more and get the suede.
I bought both the QOS Haiti jacket and the Casino Royale Miami leather bomber jacket I am 5'9" and weigh 170 lbs. with a 40/41" chest and a 32" waist. I bought the medium in both jackets and they fit like a glove. A trim fit but not too tight. I cannot stand baggy clothes. great quality. I am very happy with them. I used to weigh 195 with a lot of muscle because I was a weight lifter. I had a stroke in April and lost 25 lbs. I used to wear a large So I had to buy all new clothes.
I have the Clark’s desert welt which is an amazing chukka boot that I love so much. You can’t find them anymore really so I’m happy I was able to find a pair on eBay in my size. I will hold on to them for as long as I can.
They are all great jackets, but fall/autumn is Skyfall Barbour season in my book!

24:35 I love that this jacket is back in stock in more sizes. Only feedback (and personal preference) is that I think I would’ve preferred if the Royale Jacket actually matched the Matchless jacket color. I understand the idea behind “matching the color of the jacket in the movie”…i completely agree with that idea. But for some reason, the Royale (to me) doesn’t seem to do that. The color seems too “pale” in comparison to the look in the film. I actually think if Royale Filmwear matched the color of the matchless jacket, it would’ve gotten things much closer to the “film look”. The matchless jacket is slightly darker in shade and has that warmer/yellow tone of beige that under certain lighting looks just like the movie (because it is the same jacket as the one in the movie). If a version2.0 was made, I’d prefer to get the color to match the original more, if possible. That said, the execution of the Royale Jacket is excellent!

Slightly off-topic, I have the Billy Reid Peacoat arriving on Monday because your previous videos. Being in the UK, the taxes, duties, and shipping had me questioning my sanity, but I pulled the trigger after adding and removing it from the basket three times. Thanks for your videos, I'd never know about these brands otherwise.

been interested in Royale Filmwear apparel in a while but have always been concerned about sizing even looking at his guides. I'm really interested in his Bond Peacoat replica. I basically wear a US size 38R or 38S in every suit/blazer i own and only get the waist taken in at the tailor. I'm about 5'7" and range between 145-150 lbs. What size Shanghai Peacoat would you recommend?

Hey David. You said you were a “42”. Is that a 42” chest or US 42 blazer size. I ask cause I’m trying to decide between a M and L. I’m a typical US 42R blazer which I think makes me a L based on the Royale Filmwear size guide.

During your vids, do you consider style thoughts on who can wear these items? I mean, you’re showing Craig era jackets, but Craig is a light, blond, sandy haired guy. Do you think Bond fans who are dark haired can pull these jackets off? That last one wouldn’t work for me, as a tall Connery/dalton/Brosnan look.

Bro I struggle so much with pants. I have a 32” waist with 25” thighs and even straight cut and athletic pants look like they’re spray painted on me. The only pants I’ve ever worn that give me enough room are the track pants I train in. It’s hilarious and kind of a bummer

Funny that it’s like you treat Bond as a real person. I’m sure his wardrobe is selected as part of scene. How the outfit looks is as important as the actor. Hollywood has Been doing this from the beginning.

I don’t wear it much, but I also own too many jackets already. It’s tough to collect all these and really get good wear out of all of them.

I suppose this is the focus of your channel? "How to live like Bond"?? THis video...to do it "within your means". Most Bond fans can't afford his lifestyle...can't asfford a new 2023 Aston Martin DBS, new Tom Ford jackets or a new Omgea Seamaster 200M......etc. (i think Omega messed up their Bond theme watches...cheapened them....by putting too much "Bond labeling" in/otuside the box, back of the watch ac....etc....should have simply just left a card in the box saying it's the same model as worn by Brosnan/Craig...)...
In the end....if it makes a Bond fan happy to brank his bank trying to have A"Bodn tiems" .....GO FOR IT!! :) Really the ide is to try to capture "the essense of Bond"....his "energy" his "charisma/flair"....how you carry yourself in public ( without looking like a Bond nerd trying too hard to BE BOND...LOL..)....I mean, as much as a fan tries to "look like Bond" most case he won't....even if he has hte REAL Bond items....or at least not cheap knockoffs....no one is going to look at most guys and say "...GEE, THAT GUY LOOKS SO MUCH LIKE BOND11"... heh....who A"...DRIVES A Ford Mustang GT>.." :))
