Always love these videos, you make it look so easy, I know there is a lot of dry fits until something "clicks" and there it is. I worked on my very first Steampunk Lamp last year and it took me several months, and assembly and disassembly over and over, until I found a configuration that "clicked" Excellent work, love all of your creations.
Awesome. And it looks like it would be easy to turn it into a full fledged weather station by just taking out the two small lights and putting in a wind speed meter and a humidity meter. Might have to give this a shot, it'll be very nice under my covered porch where I grill.
Your works are amazing. I am a fan of steampunk and you have probably just inspired me to make such a lamp. One thing I think would be cool if you could put the average price of the build in the descriptions or even if you wanna a list of the items you used. I get its a creative aspect of are it your own thing but just a general idea would be just wonderful. But all in all good work keep it going you'll be at a couple 100 thousand subs in no time.
Awesome! As I watched my mind was steady thinking of a valve/switch under a gauge under a lamp. How to light the gauge and make the needle move? The light would need a 1n4007 diode, an led and a resistor. Value of the resistor based on 110v/220v line and type of led. Pop open the gauge. Drill a hole in the base of the expansion tube down to through the mount fitting for wires. The needle, get a micro actuator from a printer. Connect a piece of #12 or 14ga bare solid copper wire. Mount it behind the gauge faceplate. solder the wire to the top of the expansion tube near to the rod going to the needle. You could make it pulse. I know... Have you seen a steam engine whirligig governor? Two brass balls connected to rocker arm that spins and elevate when under pressure. A 20rpm 115 volt lazy Susan from a microwave. A pressure release diaphragm moved with a mini linear servo. Or a bellows. Ot damn it. See what you've done? This ain't lettin go till I build somethin. A steam punk stereo. With a 1963 Maranz 12AU7 valve pre-amp. Put the guts in a boiler spool valve... I blame you for this!!!!!!!!!
Really really great 👍 Maybe I oversaw it but you didn't ground the lamp 🥺 or? I built a few lamps in this style by myself (but not as beautiful as you do) but I always ground the lamps.
Banjo, your pipes and fittings are gorgeous. They look like they made of obsidian glass, or like painted PVC pipes. Did you paint your pipes and fittings gloss black before installation?
Not being funny but as you must work with a company as it seems so easy for you to have all those items that make up your lamps etc I know you show what can be made but as you don't list all the items it's kind hard to make these
at the price plumbing hardware is this lamp would cost a fortune to build, the whole premise of steampunk is something useful made out of old used and discarded items, this lamp is more high dollar chic boutique than utilitarian steam punk....
I have a suggestion for the materials for each project. You can display all of the materials needed and you can group them by like item. Then you can easily make your list of materials. If you want to see more detail, I would be happy to supply an example. Sorry if you already know how to do thisJust click on my Facebook picture next to my comment and you can send me a message.

Very nice.

You seem to cut the blue (neutral in UK) to fit the switch. Surely you should be switching the live feed (brown wire)? I believe it's safer ?
This is amazing keep up the good work
so brilliant
no word can make up to your work

Well done!!
I loved!!!!

Appreciate your time

crazy scientist!
Hahaha thank you my friend!
What color do you paint pipes?

Nice work, looks very professional. How do u set non-zero level on gauges ?
Ones a temperature gauge, and the other is a barometric pressure gauge.
awesome!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you!
Great work. What is the cost?
Thanks! The price of fittings and materials somewhere around 90 euros, but not all bought, read the description to the video
Fantastic looking lamp! How do you secure the mesh to the fittings?
Thank you! The grid is not attached so that you can change the light bulb easily.
So where do you get all of your pipes and stuff? 🍍
I'm a plumber some of the materials I had left after work and something I bought

Beautifull job! but why the lamps are connected in series? :)
So that the lamp of the highest power does not shine very brightly
Thank you!
ok! thanks! :)
That lamp is pretty expensive if you start adding up all those fittings lol
great job ! are these expensive to make
Thanks! The price of fittings and materials somewhere around 90 euros, but not all bought, read the description to the video
thanks
Gorgeous how much? 😬 I’m serious.
Are you Chemical Engineer or something? Great job man!
No, I work as a plumber.
Thank you.
Where are you from?
From Greece
Hi, I like your work
but I also like the music!
Can you or someone else say how the first track is called?
You're being sarcastic, right?
