There is Wagu as well as other types of beef, chickens running in pastures, not just given a dirt lot outside and then called free range, but the real thing. Open outdoor markets in the summer where we all partake in the abundance. The brand name Organic Valley, seen in many places around the country comes from here. I hope this helps you.
Great video. If you use schmaltz instead of lard, it adds a lot of flavor and doesn't compromise the canning/preserving. Schmaltz is a kosher, rendered chicken fat. It's super yummy. But the method you're showing is called confit in France and is one of the oldest preservation methods.

Yes, we did this back in Cyprus, you can preserve any meat or sausages this way. When you want to use it, you take some of the fat out with the meat and finish cooking it. Best tasting ever.

If you use schmaltz instead of lard, it adds a lot of flavor and doesn't compromise the canning/preserving. Schmaltz is a kosher, rendered chicken fat. It's super yummy.
But the method you're showing is called confit in France and is one of the oldest preservation methods.

Yes, we did this back in Cyprus, you can preserve any meat or sausages this way. When you want to use it, you take some of the fat out with the meat and finish cooking it. Best tasting ever.
