She's not on this original version, but Alissa White-Gluz from Arch Enemy is a guest artist on the Metal Galaxy (2019) album version of this track.
It's pretty cool now that they use the visuals from this 'Distortion' music video as the background behind them in concert during the song.
It looks great. There was never really any clear explanation about the visuals in this music video.
They released a graphic novel called 'APROCRYPHA: THE LEGEND OF BABYMETAL' around the same time.
It was also very cool looking, but left a lot open to interpretation.

@@Varksterable I don't know if you listen to the 'BABYMETAL Podcast', but episodes #4 and #5 did a deep dive into the graphic novel. Those were the best interpretations I've heard. Some really interesting ideas.

Their first video without the girls featured in it. This was released in 2018. On the album version (from 2019) Alissa White-Gluz from Arch Enemy is guest vocalist with the growls (it wasn't her on this version).

@@kevinhiggins7547 Ah sorry, I was just making a quick comment and didn't see you'd said otherwise. Yes the video and single were from 2018, A W-G recorded for the album version in 2019 (and I think all subsequent live versions use her vocals).

This song was co written with dragon force, So I have been told.
I believe you're thinking of Road of Resistance. That is the only one cowritten by DragonForce (as far as I know). If you like DragonForce you need to hear Road of Resistance obviously but also Arkadia. Arkadia sounds like it was also cowritten by DragonForce. (even tho it isn't) If you like those then Amore is more vaguely power metal. Out of 50 songs those are the ones most blatantly power metal imo.
I will second Scott's comment, if you're into power metal, Road of Resistance, Arkdia and Amore (which is completely power metal as well) are worth checking out. Road of Resistance is the only Babymetal/Dragonforce collaboration so far.

The Korean sisters of BabyMetal are Dreamcatcher, try to react to Scream-Boca or Odd Eye and after you can react to Endless Night, also, DC has a little sister called Pink Fantasy with their song Poison ^^. As ever your reactions are the best

@@mitokman106 no, Dreamcatcher plays with recorded music and doesn't sing live. Babymetal did shows with recorded music in the very early days before the release of their debut album. Only in Japan and 1 show in Singapore. They started adding a live band before they were even an independent group. They started as a subgroup of the Japanese Idol Group 'Sakura Gakuin'.

@@mitokman106 they were inspired partially by Babymetal and do heavier music. Kind of. Not nearly as heavy as Babymetal but a little heavy, for Korea.
As far as Babymetal they have changed a lot. Originally there were 3 members. But Yui left in 2018 so you are correct for what they are now. But they have 2 bands now :). There is an American one that backed them most recently in Europe and America. And even 1 show in Japan. At the show in Japan they did 2 songs with both bands.

She has joined a Korean survivor show that is to create a Kpop girl group. Have seen her video announcing it, she plays her Kazoo. I've these shows and they brutal mentally and physically!!

I don't like having Moa and an avenger. It's not balanced. They need to bring in someone of Moa's stature and give her a mic. Or do something else completely, I won't mention my suggestions because I think they are controversial. Ok maybe one I think this one might be popular. Make the Babymetal concerts longer by having Su front half and Moa front half. Bring in 4 cute dancers so they can have 2 each.

Great song, not such a great video. They know how to balance the kawaii and the brutal better than anyone.
From my understanding this video was made before AMUSE, BabyMetal's management, knew if Yui would return. This is why you do not see any of the girls clearly. As usual with BabyMetal, the live version of this song is much better in my opinion.
