Roquetas is a beautiful place which both myself and my family love we have a holiday apartment in it this year we had intended to have several trips but due to covid 19 we may not be able to visit. We are thinking of all the locals who we know and we hope and pray for their safety in these terrible times.

Hello David Campbell i like the videos i have seen of Ameria could you tell me please if they have many English living there and does the area speak much English like in the cafes and bars Thank you
@@janeteaton5208 some staff speak a little but not like in the larger resorts most in fact the majority have menus in various languages including French French German and English. A lot of visitors are from other parts of Spain but you will in the main holiday months find some English people both residents and holiday makers. We've been to all the canary islands majorca and other parts of Spain but roquetas de mar is our favourite. Due to so many Spanish tourists it is really typical Spanish which we love is a bit like marmite u will either love it or hate it. It doesn't have a lot of discos but late night bars are great for us. Very good safe beach for children try it you may love it unless you want to go clubbing at night.

Solamente la vista del mar es impresionante e incansable de admirar...El mar es dador de vida, el comienzo de toda vida y en España tienen hermosas playas y el agua es muy clara...Yo soy española viviendo en EE.UU. Aqui el agua del Atlantico es marron claro en el area de NY y NJ...Cuando volvi de Mallorca a NY no quise meterme en ese agua tan sucia...La diferencia era obvia y demasiada para ignorarlo...

Que desolación no hay gente caminando en la playa ni en las calles...sin embargo parece un lugar muy tranquilo para vivir , poco turismo.
Era antes de la temporada turística, pero buena genta.
