First the Oscar Isaac Cheetos with chopsticks reference, now the “I’m a completely different person, literally.” This show is a lot more meta than I thought it would be
So the article about 10 offbeat Jobs For a Fresh Start had two really interesting story headlines on the side that highlighted Related Articles. The first one was "Man fights with Metal Claws in bar brawl" a clear reference to Logan/Wolverine with his Adamantium claws and well known to hang around bars. The 2nd articles is "Why there is a giant statue of a man sticking out of the ocean" a nod towards the Eternals film and that massive celestial sticking out of the planet. Characters like Wolverine no doubt already existed in the MCU active within the background from fighting in a few wars to going off to do his own thing. Who knows what Logan would've gotten up to in this world along with which heros he met from Captain America to Hulk. Wolverine first appeared in a Hulk comic so it's kind of cool that the first Easter egg of Wolverine is in a Hulk related show. And Hulk going off in a Spaceship... Yeah no doubt we'll be getting a Planet Hulk storyline that uses the elements not featured in Thor Ragnarok combined with World War Hulk.
i think for the next project that could have something to do with hulk’s space adventure i’d say the marvels maybe? that’s obviously pretty space heavy and there were rumours about hulkling showing up and if he does while he isn’t related to hulk his name would have to come from somewhere
@@joshbrosh6626 Sure, it will primarily take place on Earth, but they'll have to at least show some space stuff since they need to address where Nick Fury was in Far From Home
So, those 'seven soul mates' Blonsky kept talking about.... might some of them be say, Baron Helmut Zemo? John Walker? Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine?
You know, in Blonsky's defense...thinking back to The Incredible Hulk, he didn't start acting overly hostile, violent and erratic until *after* Ross injected him with that serum.
And then demanded for Bruce's college to pump Bruce's blood into Emil's bloodstream. Then, he became Abomination and destroyed Harlem. Emil forgot to mention that.
I had to go back and rewatch it. I don’t think Blonsky did anything wrong until after he was given the serum. He wasn’t some mercenary fighting for money. He was a highly decorated commando on loan from the British Royal Marines. Who should have been made a general (according to Ross). As far as Blonsky knew Banner was a dangerous fugitive, who had stolen military secrets, was wanted in connection with the deaths of several people, and could turn into a monster. Then Ross gave him the serum and he started to mutate and become more and more aggressive and erratic. She-Hulk might be able to make a case that it wasn’t entirely his fault.
I see a lot of people missed the first article on the website Jen was looking at it states: "Man fights with metal claws in bar brawl" In other words, the man is Wolverine/Logan. Also the second one is an Eternals reference which states: "Why there is a giant statue of a man sticking out of the ocean" That is a reference to the Celestial being turned to stone at the end of the movie.
I'm living for seeing Jay and Adam get slack-jawed over the douchey behavior guys exhibit toward Jen, while most of the female audience are like "Yup, that's accurate." Haiku: She-Hulk is the best Watching with Jay and Adam makes it still better
One thing I noticed that is *very* interesting. In this episode where Jen breaks the fourth wall, nobody notices her doing it. She's even giving narration about her boss being a douche while walking behind him and he hears nothing. Contrast this with episode 1 where Bruce heard and saw her breaking the fourth wall. Sure, he was confused with what she was doing, but he did see her do it. Maybe Hulk's have a sense for the fourth wall, but Jen has it a lot more pronounced than Bruce, who isn't even really aware of it. Will be interesting to see were this goes
The writing in episode 1 is bad, but not that bad. I'm still enjoying this show. Personal trauma should not be used to win a debate. Hulk did an excellent job with this one: He listened to Jennifer and let her speak for herself. That is how a real traumatized person would behave. I'm hoping that, like in the comic, she apologizes to him in a later episode.
Honestly I don't understand the hate that this show gets because it's a ton of fun. It's great to see tim Roth back as abomination and he makes good points why it wasn't all his fault.

I love the first episode as an origin story but this feels like the REAL first episode of the Lawyer Show that Jen promised. And it looks entertaining as hell! I was worried that Jen was ONLY hired because she is the She-Hulk but Holloway seemed genuine when he said that she laid out a winning case against them even before the mistrial, and a law firm this big wouldn’t risk hiring anyone less than a great lawyer even with the publicity they bring, because if they sucked as a lawyer that makes them look bad. Also I freaking love that they got Tim Roth back as Emil/Abomination. He does feel like he is putting on a con, but he does genuinely seem somewhat reformed. But I’m certain this is all Contessa Valentina trying to get him into the Thunderbolts. And I hate that I missed that “I’m a completely different person now” joke when I watched it!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

"Man fights with metal claws in bar brawl" SNIKT SNIKT
"It's just an hour or two away" 😂🙏🏻
The guy that have them the gift basket played Billy from the show Sirens. I loved that show. Good for him
Wolverine confirmed!!! When Jen was looking at the computer for jobs there was a link to the side that mentioned “man fights with metal claws in bar brawl”
I feel like the bathroom for pooping guy had 15 different accents and spoke like 6 words lol
Bruce in space... World War Hulk, mayhaps? Would be cool to see
Also loved the tease of a man with metal claws
People do know that Hulk cannot be in his own movie due to Universal owning the rights?
@@redchili6927 some rumors point to universal losing the rights in 2023 since they only had a 15 year period
@@redchili6927 did you forget that the incredible hulk exists? Or how Sony owns the rights to Spider-Man and yet they still make solo movies set in the MCU?
Pug was clutch with that bathroom map!
Traditional (with the seasonal reference):
Summer, She-Hulk show
Wong is in trouble with her
He needs to explain
Non-traditional (no seasonal reference):
Those rules do suck
She-Hulk only while working
Jen only in jail
I love it so much. Tatiana is just wonderful as She Hulk. I do wish the episodes were longer but otherwise I have zero complaints.
And now a haiku over something I was freaking out about
A Man with metal claws
Was caught in a bar fight
X MEN IN THE MCU
Marvel should do Abomination Haikus as shorts like the Groot shorts.
THANK YOU!! I was trying so hard to figure out what the actor playing her dad was in, I haven’t thought about Perfect Strangers in a long time but used to watch that show all the time in when it was on
