Hi can anyone help , I have exact same problem. My mate plugged in his obd but because ignition won’t come on it was no use. Is this device only way to fix. I fitted EMV & the led on it didn’t even light up. New battery just fitted to car & the key has been checked with new battery also
@@smj6375 sorry I totally understand what you’ve said u thought you was talking about the Autel machine whether it will work on it or not. With regards to what you’ve said there is 10% it will work and 90% it won’t. However if your luck then sometimes if you buy the elv lick on eBay it may turn it on all you do is plug it into the steering rack but can’t guarantee that will 100% work
I had the same problem. The problem lies in the locking of the steering wheel programmed by the factory. It should work for a certain number of times and then stop to fix it. You must use a computer programming keys to reset it in minutes and it will work again without replacing it.
@@Seb0343 hi unfortunately the car was sent to someone who wasn't honest whom had interest in having the car for himself and that person fixed it but asked for a lot which i didn't have so he had his wish come true and i sold it to him for much less than what it was worth. @@a.f1785 hi the bypass does more or less what the diagnostic machine does but it’s a module you fit on the steering. However I’ve been out to a few before where the bypass hasn’t worked and ended up doing what I did on the video for them.
Don’t waste your money, fully charge the battery and lock and open the car. It will released the steering lock and leave battery on fully charge for 1-2 hours maybe longer. Depending on condition of your battery. I use second battery for extra boost before start and it work start with no fault

What model is your autel? Also is there any special program I need to purchase
It’s Autel Maxisys MS908s Pro and no doesn’t need any special function am sure even the ones that are £700 to £1100 will do similar job.

Yes will work and with these bmw the old ones of course if you update the CAS system then it shouldn’t have any problems

Can’t really do much other than what you’ve seen on the video pal. You can also try and buy a bypass ELV on eBay it’s only £30
