I love Pathologic for its lore, its characters, its themes, its rich atmosphere. But these goofy bullshit challenges are peak Pathologic content and no one can convince me otherwise.
Imagine if the NPCs face the same consequences as we do for dying, and they just constantly get berated by Mark from the constant dying. Great video, I didn't even think this would be possible
9:38 plot twist: goose shouldn’t normally drop lockpicks, these particular geese grew sentient after their long-suffering torment and attempted to arm themselves against their natural predator the haruspex
Hrm, "You killed 7 gooses today, but you did gave an amulet, 2 pins and 4 matches to a child, so we can trade" sounds logic to me Patho-logi- Ill se myself out...
@@madhijz-spacewhale240 At least you never met them and never sleep in this run. Thus you cannot be guilted. Still, as someone addicted to trying to save every bound in every run - even my least favorite ones - I would be unable to bring myself to start a challenge that I knew from the outset would doom them. Nevertheless, I recognize that you are right, and long for the return of the original pain. So I create increasingly difficult challenge runs of my own, in which I try to succeed and save all my loved ones. But losing them all is only meaningful because I had a chance, and failed.
thank you so much for your videos! your ideas are so creative and it's so fun to watch you figure out how to make them happen. great video 🧡 recoding issues didn't ruin it at all.
It was such an interesting challenge! Probably the best You did. Though now I can't help but wonder - You have the mechanics down, so You can beat the game in a way of surviving, and getting the theater ending... but was it possible for You to complete any quests, just in this area? Would You be able to heal/save anyone? You know, are there any narrative things You could partake in, if Artemy was somehow story-wise restricted to just this district?
There’s like no quests that are entirely contained in the stone yard. The closest I came to completing something was the piano Capella quest. I was able to find 2 out of 3 ppl playing piano but I think the last person won’t spawn in the stone yard. As for saving people, I did initially plan on saving the kains and Eva but almost all of them got infected immediately and I gave up on it but it would definitely be possible. Instead of using my trading items for extra supplies I could have farmed a teensy for all the schmowders I would ever need.
@@Andy_North Thank You so much for satiating my curiosity :D I can't wait for Your next challenge runs. I'm not too good in that game mechanically, Narrative always makes me so immerse, that I have trouble paying attention to anything else, and survive by the skin of my teeth, but Your videos really encourage me to come up with some limitations, to have fun on my own too XD Thank You for being here, for all the Pathologic fans.
Ya think he eats these eggs raw or has them cooked somehow? Many his body is so pumped full of antibiotics that he is incapable of having diarrhea. Missed mechanics in this game jk
alternate title: goose abuse
Alternative-alternative title: Beating your goose
goose aboose

I need a game mode where you play as goose and have to evade Artemi's murderous cafeine addiction as he pursues you all around town

Artemi is not beating the murder-hobo accusations

I like this challenge, it's very interesting!
Though I personally could never do it because Murky would die.
it's pathologic baby, the real game is the friends you lost along the way

This is great stuff, and you clearly put such a tremendous amount of effort into these videos, and I appreciate you.

Bro thinks he's playing Duck Hunt
now im wondering what districts you can stay in for the entire game without dying, great video!

they should rename goose to GOAT
stoop kid's afraid to leave his stoop
I mean uhh Artemy is afraid to leave his Stone Yard.
you're mental. r.i.p. goose thou shalt be missed
I'm struggling to even beat the game normally lmao
it's so hard to watch Artemy kill NPCs
You know that you can store things at Var's place right? It's safe storage and carries over day to day.
Oh wow yeah I did not know that! I never thought to check since usually you can only store things at other bound places.
you don’t beat pathologic, pathologic beats you
Great game. Great vids
