It's really unfair how some of the reviewer don't even break a sweat and they have millions of subscribers meanwhile this guy and Monty working so hard I wish him all the best looking forward for that 1 million soon
Quick PSA about the FLOLAB NanoArmour that wasn't mentioned in the review: it has the black border/bezel painted on the glass. I'm not sure how often this happens, but unfortunately for myself and a few other reviews I read on the site, the screen protector borders can cover up part of the visible area of the screen. It's only about 1mm on each side, but it's enough to be annoying, especially for the price. I'm going to reach out to their customer service to see if I can get a replacement or if this is just how it's supposed to be. Either way, a very odd choice by them. You'd think it would be less expensive to just make the whole thing clear?
Your reviews are so fun to watch! I recently subscribed to your channel and man did not expect someone who has broken so many things on videos to be wearing the same glasses for years.
@@MobileReviewsEh The Otterbox Amplify is. Glare Guard no? That’s partly why it’s so expensive. No glare & No matte so that u can wear polarized sunglasses while driving & use your phone safely without the glare (GPS) Can you clarify that & review the anti glare properties. Otterbox claims that u don’t need to increase the brightness on a beach at a park or in car.
Flolab at number 1, I’m not even surprised tbh! I’ve been using them since I found your channel last year, and I love mine. They have a crazy good warranty program. Broke mine one time and got a replacement for about 5 US bones shipping. The process was easy. The only thing is they ship from China so the wait is about 10 days in my experience 😬
Bought a new iPhone and while I’m waiting for it to get here I was looking for a new screen protector. I have watched multiple of your videos about multiple products, and usually like your information. This video has really made me question your info though. For instance, I have used TechArmor screen protectors for quite a bit. I clearly was surprised to see it perform so poorly in the testing stages, but I notice you didn’t say much about how easy they were to install. That was not as nearly questionable as when you went on and on about warrantee replacements and didn’t mention them once!!??!! What gives there? I have used their replacement system for years and cannot tell you how much I appreciate a company that simply replaced every single one I’ve ever broke on all the phones in my house without any issue at all!!! On my most recent phone I had a string of bad luck drops and after the 3rd time getting a replacement in a semi short time they asked that I pay $4 shipping. That sounds much better than the shipping you quoted from another company!!! Sorry, but these types of oversight are making me question the validity of your feelings for one company over another and have earned a 21st thumbs down. Please keep making the videos, you do a great job of showing factual tests, I will just have to negate your personal feelings when you give them, for now...
Can confirm with TechArmor that they'll replace broken screen protectors for a couple bucks worth of shipping. It's also an online form so you don't need to interact with someone.
Hey mate, I don't normally leave comments but thought I would here because you literally saved me from purchasing the Belkin screen protector! Thankfully my local store also sells the InvisibleShield Ultra so I ended up going with that. Keep doing what you're doing. God's work honestly. Much love from Australia.
Good to see Monty so dressed up and attentive in this video! Btw, I’ve had great customer support from Flolab when I have cracked my phone screen protector. I get my non-glass watch protector from Zagg instead as they are local and I can pop in and get another one easy.
Wouldn’t you want your glass to crack? I mean the whole point is for the glass to spread the force on itself and not to the phone... if it doesn’t crack it means it’s transmitting the force to the actual screen... can you do testing?
I’ve had a Whitestone Dome on my current and previous phones and I love them. The feel is great, the installation is more difficult than your average protector but not impossible to follow and the last one lasted almost 1.5 years without a scratch or crack. I love the Dome. My all time favorite was the Cinder though they don’t make them anymore.
@@MobileReviewsEh I have to admit that I am protective of my phone. I keep it in a case but it’s usually in my pocket when I’m out of the house. Speaking of cases are you going to review the Rebel line of cases?

I’ve used Bodyguardz as a screen protector for my iPhone X. I’ve broke a couple of screen protectors out of stupidity and it has protected my phones screen quite well, as I tend to be rough on my tech. Their customer service and warranty is arguably some of the best since all I have to do is pay for shipping and send back the broken protector to get a new replacement one. When I decide to replace my phone model with a new one, I’ll happily order a new screen protector from them.
With Zagg, I registered online, and was able to replace my $50 screen protector for the cost of shipping ($6) each time. One time period it was three times in one month, but they never judged me.
Great video! I purchased the Flolab with your code. Bought 2, although they have the warrantee, the launched last year so I was concerned the may not have the model if it ever cracks. They have an awesome Black Friday deal now and I was also able to use your code! Love your dog too. Soo adorable. Thanks much
Love your videos. Thank you for not having sponsored ads. I find it odd that I am paying for YT Red for ad-free videos but most have sponsored ads. I think YT is misleading YT Red customers.
I think it's only going to get worse before it gets better. I'm betting on the long term value of an unsponsored channel over channels looking to make a quick buck.
Man I loved this review! I totally had no idea that they varied so much, I’ve always just bought one and slapped it on. Any chance of a iphone 12 pro Max available right after they arrive next week? I’m finally looking at upgrading my iPhone 7 Plus but I’ve always used protectors on the screen and now I’m more concerned about then before.
I also think maybe Flolab includes a warranty or replacement program on their screen protectors as well. When I dealt with them about it all I had to was pay shipping to get a new one and their site says “A limited lifetime warranty means if your Tempered Glass Screen Protector glass ever gets worn or damaged, FLOLAB will replace it for the life of your device” might want to look into that cause it’s kinda interesting but worded weird
Life of the device happened when Apple no longer had update support for the iPhone 5s and iPhone 6 for me. So I’d say about 5-6 years after the phone launched. That’s what they explained to me. So as long as Apple still supports it. (Right now it’s the 6s still getting support since Apple will still update iOS 14 to the 6s), technically it’s still alive.
Big fan of your videos. RIP, Bertha, but can you run your updated force meter test with hybrid glass screen protectors? I’m curious how those will fare compared to all glass.
I’ve been loyally using ESR screen protectors. You are right they are consumables (my girlfriend is not kind to her phone) and price and reliability should meet at a reasonable level. They also have good replacement service (through Amazon) send it back and they replace it.
I’m thinking of trying Flolab for the 12. I usually get the Spigen. Does Flolab put one or two in the box? Spigen has two and I usually end up using both. Flolab is a bit. Ore expensive but if they include two I might take a shot.
Great video. I agree with how companies have bailed on customer service and think automated answers are all they need. Honestly I do not recall any issue I have had being resolved by an automated system. I don’t agree that screen protector should be considered as a consumable item and I have watched over the years as these companies had screen protectors I could not scratch or crack and in the last 3 to 5 years they have built in obsolescence so they can make them a consumable. We should not accept that and stop purchasing sub par products over the best of the worst. Just my 2 cents.

A detail that I think he's missing: The Flolab NanoArmour's black border actual extends onto the sides of the screen screen my maybe .7 mm. It seems like nothing, but I can't tell you how often a piece of text that starts at the side of the screen gets clipped off. Also it is so much glass that it doesn't fit with one of my cases. For me, it's bad enough that I plan to buy another protector, which is very disappointing considering the general quality of the product.
I just had a Zagg one installed at Best Buy Thursday. Geek Squad installed it. There was separation on the bottom left. So I brought it back last night and they put a new one on, and today I’m having the same separation. I’m a little upset. Apple said the Belkin ones they have are having the same issue with separation around the edges as well. Which is weird because it’s the same one they used on the iPhone 7, and I got one installed on mine and it worked perfectly for the entire duration of me owning the phone. Now I’m not sure what exactly to do and which one to try next.
I’ve been using belkin screen protectors with my XS Max that was installed at apple store. From my experience they’re more eager to replace screen protector for free if it was installed at apple store or damage is minor like small cracks or just bunch of scratches. They will just send you email to go to whatever apple store that is near you to have it replaced. However, once I destroyed mine pretty good because phone fell out of the pocket while on a bike at that time they refused the replacement, so I had to buy a new one.

I really loved iCarez screen protectors from Amazon. They cover the entire screen, even with the curved edges, and are very cheap. Not sure how they compare in durability to others, but for $10 for 2, I don’t really care.
