The playoff drought has given our fans tunnel vision to how the organization should be managed. We need to end the real drought which is the cup drought. If our fans would really listen and understand to what Adams says, we need to get behind it and trust the process. The high of merely making the playoffs will fade really fast once we get in. Just like with the Bills everyone will be begging for a championship. The way Adams is building the team is the smartest way to do it. We are still one of the youngest teams in hockey loaded with talent. Imagine how they all will play as grown men. That is 100% worth the wait for me and a ride we should strap in and enjoy.
Do you think that Whalberg has any shot of making this roster ? I like his game and toughness but also has a crazy shot and of course his size which I think we could always use more of. Curious on your thoughts
Lol Sabres will not make the playoffs again this season. Adams is a failed GM, And Joe is right they got better defensively but goals will once again be hard to come by. Mostly every team in the Atlantic got better offensively, the Sabres got worse. Adams had no plans to replace Skinner and instead expects kids to chip in which will blow up in his face. The only thing I have hope for is Kevyn Adams finally being fired and ending up in a ditch. But we still have the worst owner in the league who will probably replace Adams with another retread former Sabre. So my glass is completely empty.
Just getting rid of Skinner was an instant up grade. A career minus 130. There was a reason Carolina got rid of him for a 2nd round and a few lower round picks. Then when he wasn't on the top line. He completely disappeared. A player with the ability to score half as much and actually play a 2-way game. Will be an upgrade.
@@TheDarthmalstromdo you mean whos replacing Skinner? Peterka... Thompson is healthy, Tuch is healthy, Benson is a year older, Quinn is back healthy, they added Zucker and McLeod, and completely reset their 4th line. Cozens is the only question mark and his ceiling is 70-80 points, so i dont think you have any idea what youre talking about.

the meat grinder called the Atlantic Division. Where probably 7 or the 8 teams if they played in any other division might all be in the playoffs.
