Dude thank you so much. My cousin sent me a link to this stream as it was crossing 84. I live between 84 and 55. We had time to take cover because of your efforts. We didn’t get an alert from the NWS until I saw the funnel coming. No damage to our property but I have 3 sons and a wife that were grateful to know ahead of time. Stay safe and keep up the good work.
Glad you’re safe. I have family in McComb, Mt. Olive, and Smithdale off of 98. My Grandfather, Jesse Fenn owned Fenn’s Grocery gas station and convenience store there on 98.
all those people driving right into it.. it sends shivers down my spine to remember how unaware the average citizen is of severe weather events.. i hope everyone was alright
I was caught in the middle of this weather last night. I thought the worst had gone before I went out. I was leaving Flowood on my way to Florence. As I drove, I was gripping the steering wheel so hard and almost hyperventilating. I prayed the whole way for mine and everyone's safety. As I got to my road on Briarhill, it got really bad. There are trees banking the whole road and limbs were falling. There was so much rain and debris flying and nearly a white out. I just held on and prayed until I got to my house! I've always been terrified of high winds since childhood. Thank you sweet Lord for answering yet another prayer!🙏I'm so sorry for the person that lost his young life, the 2 dozen that were hurt and all of the destruction to the homes. I can't imagine chasing a tornado!
I'm with you there. I've been afraid of the wind since I was six years old, and I've lived through two tornadoes at 9 and 19 years of age. They both occurred on April 4th, 1974 and 1984. I'm still afraid of high winds.
@@heatherstub Same here with the tornadoes because we had one hit about a half-mile on one road over from us, when i was probably 10 yrs. old, but just hight wind in general I still get anxious and panicky.
Got family in that area I used to be forced to see during the holidays. Can't tell you how many thanksgivings and Christmases we would have to go into a closet or bathroom because of tornado warnings. This video brings some childhood memories which are very warm and fuzzy, haha. Miss seeing tornadoes, too. Now I just hear about them here in Florida.
I watched the Kansas/MO Blizzard one yesterday. This is my 2nd of Connor's. Totally hooked. Love the open road. Reminds me of many car trips across the country that have been fucking awesome. Love active weather. GREAT streaming.
can you see the car which is the farthest away from Connor at 35:25? It is right in the middle of it, trees are starting to fall on the road and the driver needs to make a quick decision as to whether to stay there or drive backward or race forward. They eventually made it but I would not have liked to be in their shoes.
Damn, the balls, he keeps saying almost time to go!..With the tornado almost right on top of him....😅...but seriously thanks for what you do, I know your broadcast has saved lives.
Pressure changes from a tornado is gonna rip your broken windshield right off. Be careful. Thanks for putting yourself out there. You're braver than I am lol
If you're suggesting that Connor should've moved.. just know that he planned on doing so as he thought it was coming right at him at first. But then he saw cars on the highway driving right past him into the path so he bravely held his position to warn people, and then a few moments later he realized the tornado was going to pass in front of him and not impact him head-on. Also, pretty sure this tornado was a fast-mover (45+MPH) so it wasn't doing any "sharp turns". Maybe slight, but sudden turns like that EF4 a year ago did to enter the town of Rolling Fork.. but definitely no shift in direction to the extent tornadoes moving at or under 30MPH do.
I HAD TO TAKE SHELTER, IM ALIVE, IT WAS THAT WEDGE HEADED FOR ME, It didn’t hit me though thank goodness, praying for those who got hit, my mother saw it while driving.
I’m just now seeing this five hours after the fact. So absolutely no clearings anywhere in Mississippi. It is just endless trees and pine trees at that filled with kudzu. I don’t miss living there at all.

this is crazy to occur in the winter
In Louisiana and Mississippi, we actually have more tornadoes in December and January than any other months
It isn’t unusual for us to have tornadoes in December. We actually see them through the year.
Listen to the winds….wow
Nice work Connor!

That's not huge. The El Reno, OK tornado was huge. Thank you for getting the word out and trying to stop people.
