Seeing the potato pizza reminds me of making this soft toasted bun with Rösti which is potato. Then I added cheese on top of the Rösti to melt. On top of the Rösti with cheese I added baked union rings and a baked egg. Topped it of with Sweet Baby Ray BBQ Sauce. Delicious! My next step will be the same but with a thin pressed hamburger and/or with iceberg lettuce* under the meat or Rösti. Try it. It was delicious! *lettuce via lemonized water and drain it. Then to contrast with the acids and the greasiness of the all the baking will be a great experience!

I just made tunafish pizza with curry, spicy peppers and it was so damn good!! I like to try diffrent things on my pizza. Still on my learning curve making pizza, and need to get money to buy a real pizza oven but for now I do it on my home oven or grill. Loved this episode always nice to see some new stuff =)

You should visit Raf Bonetta, to try some "creative" and avant-garde pizza stuff as well. Vito rocks but there are others pizzerie in Naples and Italy in general where they are also doing great stuff.
I'll try it, with a quarter inch thick, pre-boiled potato slices, with maybe butter and Tamari on the potatoes, before they go on the Pizza, then the cheese..., but I like to cheat, bacons may slip in, when I'm not looking...

Vito adds sugar in his dough and I believes swirls olive oil on the corona. Both make the edge, the corona, more crispy.
