Austin A40 Somerset, Running, Very Solid body,Restoration Project,Ebay

This is the Auction for a very sound Austin A40 Somerset, its pretty original, it was last on the road in 2004, There are some old mots & bills along with the V5 & old style log book, It starts & drives for moving & Loading purposes, It starts first time & runs well, The Chassis is in excellent condition (not a word I use a lot) it has never been welded, In fact I can not see any where on the body that has been welded, There are a couple of small places may need a Minor weld job at the rear of front wings to floor? also the drivers rear wheel arch you can see when you open the rear driverside door, Also as it is now MOT exempt this can be done as you go, If you have had Somersets you will appriciate how Sound this one is, which makes it an excellent project, The interior lets the car down, the red seats are in poor condition, I think this is due to the Factory opening sun roof leaking in on the seats, The door panels are good Dash & instruments are all good, it is the seats & carpets, BUT I do have at this time another somerset here I plan to break up, which has a reasonable set of seats (Red), Also I have a Complete set of New Red Carpets that have been stored for years, one 6 inch edge of passenger side has faded, these & the seats are available at an extra cost, as are any other parts from the other somerset, I do plan to break the other somserset so ALL Parts will be going on my shop, (Please send requests for parts in advance), This will make someone a Great Winter Project, Ready for the Summer, I have the V5 here
