Well of Course What "Took The Cake " Was Nancy Reagan Being So Moved By The Music , That She Even Attempted What Is Known As " The Holy Dance !!"......This Proved Once Again, That "When The Spirit Hits You, You've Got To Move !!! ".......

Yes, that's him. He and the Smallwood Singers also did two of their own songs, "Come By Here," and "You Sure Been Good To Me," during that program. Their segment can be found here on TH-cam as well.
They travel separately. Wikipedia actually has a list of people who have been designated survivors at major events (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Designated_survivor).

@@ReikyellahIt is perhaps because you, like many others, have become accustomed to hearing opera singers sing in a 'woofy' head voice rather than use their chest voice for lower notes. But classically, switching between chest voice and head voice was the standard for opera. Also, it's a gospel/spiritual set, so her use of chest voice was certainly fitting.
One of the most amazing people God ever put on this earth. She is still alive at the age of 96. A woman of pure elegance and intelligence.
I just discovered leontyne and I am obsessed
She is Whitney Houston’s and Deonne Warwick’s cousin
Not the most important thing about her.
Me too😊
What amazing range of colors, tones, Her voice was coming from everywhere.
She's a real powerhouse.
I’m obsessed with this performance and Mrs Leontyne Price! 😍😍😍 Spectacular
First Lady Reagan was genuinely flooooating ! 😊
Seeing the original Smallwood singers and Nancy starting to dance was everything❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
And my favorite pianist, Mr. Richard Smallwood!
First Lady Nancy felt that😊
She almost got loose than she remembered she’s the First Lady😅
This was truly beautiful!
Love Madame Leontyne Price!❤️
Thank you, thank you! I am such a fan of Price and to hear her here is so refreshing!
You are so welcome!
'Like' does not cover how much I love this. We do not deserve Leontyne.

Gloria al Señor, cusndo EStados unidos todavía respetaba y alababa a Dios
I loving Madame Price giving us First Lady looks @9:35 looking over the church xD
Hallelujah !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Praise God.
What a beautiful family, I'm going to get to this Lord willing.
I came here to hear Leontyne but OMG did not expect to see Richard Smallwood ..He has been using his gifts for awhile..
Amazing!
very nice little concert! Good vibes. Mountain goes quite low.
Preach Leontyne
Happy Birthday, #LeontynePrice95!🌹🌹🌹

Extraordinary!
80s fashion was something else
I think my favorite part is Reagan clapping on 1 and 3 the whole time
I know! He was trying his damndest. Or Nancy (as well as VP Bush) at the end, sweating and completely winded after clapping along.
hahaha!!!
Look at these people living in very difficult times, but living and giving praise.
Difficult times? They literally had the President of the United States in the audience. But go on with your "woe is me perpetual victim" agenda. 🙄
She is indeed a great inspiration
Fantastic! Amen!!
Meu Deus, que maravilha!!!
8:08 ID this singer please? Is this a very young Lillias White?
Yep.
incrooyable !
Richard Smallwood appears to be at the piano
Yes, that's him. He and the Smallwood Singers also did two of their own songs, "Come By Here," and "You Sure Been Good To Me," during that program. Their segment can be found here on TH-cam as well.
I'm ending up here after learning that Leontyne Price is Cissy and Whitney Houston and Dionne Warwick's cousin.
And Nancy on beat !!!!!
Both Reagan and Bush! I didn't think it was permitted to have the president and Vice in the same place at the same time.

Such a blessing!!!!!!
is that Richard Smallwood on the piano?
It is.

Music unites
Thanks for the video. Is the full clip of Amazing Grace available to view anywhere?
Very nice intro by Nancy Reagan! Even though she pronounces it progrUM
That’s the British/formal actor’s diction.
Alright for Richard Smallwood and the RSS!!!
leontyne and lillias!?!?!
Barbara Bush is feelin This Little Light!😅
Is the woman singer in the colorful dress Lilias White?
OMG LILLIAS WHITE‼️‼️‼️‼️😳😳
It is!! I thought so.
I thought so, too!
Nancy got her step in
Nancy trying soo hard not to say « slavery » rolling my eyes
2:35 you can’t tell me that ppl think that this sounds nice?! The “oh” of oh lord?! I mean I’m not feeling her head voice at all :/
I must reluctantly agree, I do not like the flips from her chest voice to head voice in “Just Come From The Mountain” :(
