- We may not be allowed back to this golf club in Cornwall! I'm joined with Jamie Crocker as we take on the beautiful St Enodoc Golf Club. We play scramble and try to make as many birdied as possible through 9 holes whilst being chased down by some angry members...

The OAP's are sneakily fast, they only hit stingers with hybrids and they have spidey senses for groups ahead of them. Also remember they're playing probably 80 yards ahead of you, on average, at the start of every hole.
Love the varied content James. Keep up the good work. I think maybe those sort of members, male and female, are what hinders clubs and golf from moving forward into the modern age.

yeah james and i will be creating the UK good good, but we shall name it goo' goo' and there will be hole in ones on par 5's not just par 4's

Love this course. Played it a while back. It always amazes me how people are in such a rush and so vocal about it. If they haven't the time to play 9 holes in 90 mins then they should go play pitch and putt courses. Love it guys !
Great video brother! How fast did those ladies need to play!!! I get your recording but your also playing a 2 man scramble. No reason they need to be on your ass like that! 😒 why can't people just play more chill and enjoy the actual game instead of speeding around! Keep up the grind sir!
More focused on getting round than enjoying the scenery. We offered to let them through multiple times as well 😂

It's a beautiful course. I played it last summer in the high 30's heat. That last hole (9th) I hit a choppy 5 iron and made it to roughly where you were because of the hard pan ground. Great, simple, clean style content James!

I was a member there and in the summer could hardly get a tee time with in a week it was that busy so left. Would love to see you play my course now, lanhydrock its short but very tight and gnrgeous looking in the warmer months

Played there in January and the greens were unreal for the time of year unreal course no wonder it's in the top 30 UK great vid keep it up 👍

Met women like this before. Hate playing behind men. Hate men, and if you had let them through they would more than likely slowed right down. Too up themselves for their own good. I was going to play St. Enodoc with my family from the States but not now. Bit like B-o-Sea.
Yet the amount of times you get stuck behind them tapping it 80 yards and they won’t play you through is mind boggling

Some good golf in challenging conditions
Women golfers are the same on every course. Probably hitting 7 shots to get to your drives, so they never have to wait for the group in front to clear. Always moaning too, you should have slowed down. Our ladies section makes up about 5% of the membership, but they think they can make all of the club decisions. 🙄

@@JamesWiltshirehahah those ladies who tap the ball 100 yards a time are hell. They never loose a ball, don't need time to think about what shot to hit and don't care about their putting since they already made a gazillion shots to get on the green

You have to unfortunately have a go at the ladies. It’s the only way they learn to calm down.
I have to people all the time about the actual time rules in golf. A little abuse goes a long way 😂😂
What time rules ? just let faster groups through
@@kevinphillips6013 there are time allowances for each course if you read the rules. Usually it’s about 4-4:30 hours for 18 holes…..those rules.

@@kevinphillips6013 an hour and 30 to play 9 holes is more than reasonable.
99% of the time it’s a four ball of women (none of whose can break 100) holding up a two ball of blokes.. lost track of the amount of times I’ve been behind them.
He’s also stated that they offered them the chance to play through.
Golf’s made a lot of positive changes since I started playing again recently, but the entitlement of female golfers of a certain generation isn’t one of those positives.
@@GolfingInParadise783 Never had a problem with Ladies playing slow ,but how many male societies can get round in less than 5 hours ? Its a joke how long most people take these days , 54 shots .whats that all about ?. They play once in a blue moon and f##k it up for everyone . WHS has turned golf into casual drink parties
