When the course first opened, they had these amphibious golf carts to cross to to the green on high tides on the 3B "Tale of the Whale" Par 3 Island hole. I wonder what ever happened to that. It feels as being short-changed traveling there, getting to play this very exclusive course, and not being able to play/putt the probably most famous hole in Mexico.
The Mexico Open is played right down the coast from there just a few miles at Vidanta Vallarta. I was there this summer just a few weeks after the Open, and got to play the course (only 9 holes were open when I was there), but the course at Punta Mita is much more beautiful, being right on the water, great vid boys

Always enjoy the content. Played that course years ago and I think it took me 3 shots to get it in play on that tail of the whale par 3. Odd I thought they did have a little dinghy to take you out to it, luckily when I was there it was low tide so we were able to go out and complete the hole. I hope you guys were able to get up to Sayulita to Burrito Revolution, best burrito I have ever had.
I could care less on the quality of golf when you showcase a beautiful place like that. So jealous. I had to look up what weekend would cost to go there for my dad and I. Without flights, 10k 😲🤯
