This is great! Canadian hip hop is much better than US hip hop. Excluding a few. But they know how to write lyrics. Nothing here (US) is this well written. They have something to say, I like that this song is isn't just about drinking and money. Ghetto Child and Classified etc all know whats real. Cudos to all Halifax and east coast Canada rap!
The original ELO song “Mister Blue Sky” says “Mister blue sky, please tell us why, you had to hide away for so long”. So it’s a bit amusing thinking that Ghettochild didn’t know the original sample and thinks they’re saying “reach to the sky” lol
