I played this side quest without looking up what happens online and my brain kind of just exploded. I thought AC lore was going completely off the deep end

So Watchdogs takes place in the same world as Assassin's creed, which now takes place in the same universe as Final Fantasy, which is connected to Kingdom Hearts. That confirms it. Sora will enter the animus in Kingdom hearts 3.

Each universe of final fantasy has its own lore, the cloud of ff7 is not the cloud of kingdom hearts nor is any of the final fantasy connected to each other unless said so (ex: ff7 and ff10) so in other words assassins creed origins is connected to final fantasy XV and only ffxv

@@mistertaz94 Kinda? They exist in the world and in a another dimesion called the Beyond, and there are heavy themes of space and stars around them (they're called ASTRALS for a reason). But they are not conceptual beings, at least, not fully. Just some weird beings that are very stronk and hard to kill, since they need to die on both sides to truly get killed, and given that Bahamut died at the end of the series...
Welp, the closest aproximation of what they are is a Ghost/Alien hybrid. The whole Divine shtick doesn't seem to apply.
Considering how much of a 'big nerd' Noctis is during the Assassin's Festival. This is really gonna blow his mind when he sees his worst enemy invaded his favorite video game series.

I was yelling at my screen in shock. I am also happy to say that the Ultima Weapon is meeting up to its elite expectations, as it should for an iconic Final Fantasy weapon lol.
I just wish the chocobo didn't make camel noises and didn't have hooves I: I was looking forward to hearing "KWEH" as I rode across the desert.
This was the most badass sword and shield in the game!
I would’ve loved a boss fight with Ardyn in Assassin’s Creed. Like a three part fight:
Phase One:
Normal Ardyn, not using the Power of Kings
Phase Two:
Power of Kings Ardyn, probably takes place outside the tomb
Phase Three:
Fully Corrupted Power of Kings Ardyn, taking place in an alternate realm where Bahamut would give you the blade and shield to weaken him enough so Bahamut can send him back

Crossover games/events are often non-canon, this being promotional says that alone.
Also Lol Ardyn accepted his fate in XV like a boss. He didn't fight, he just went with it smiling.

So Ardyn was sealed in another world after going apeshit in his past, but then Bayek broke that.
It’s Bayek’s fault that Ardyn returned and messed up everything!

Yup that is how I see it. FFSV were a citizen with The ones that came before. Then those descendants became the assassin order then overtime the creed became the watchdogs.

Man, look, I appreciate the event, but the moment Ardyn stepped out, I was hoping for some rad boss fight. I don't have problem with Bahamut taking him as long as I get to see him kicking Bayek's ass… And his second or fourth theme playing while doing so.
Honestly, though. Like you go through the trouble of aligning the damn sun to open up the tomb and release Ardyn only for him not to speak or even interact with Bayek? Smfh, you know Ardyn would’ve loved to kick his ass.

Ajay Singh basically this guy can bend the rules of time and space, which is why he's able to be in this game. That flying thing that came for him was Bahamut, a god in FFXV, trying to bring his dumb ass back to his own damn game lol
Ardyn was imprisoned in light which made it impossible for him to escape. And once this guy ruins EVERYTHING he’s finally busted out and the FF universe reacts by having the Primal Bahamut appearing to kill Ardyn while he’s free but because FFs biggest bad guys usually are immortal and regenerate in the after life, he looks up at Bahamut ready to LB his ass but he sees it as “k my Uber is here.”. Idk what the Assassins Creed guys name is in this one but basically all wrapped up. That dude made all of the the FFXV happen

Assassin’s creed was never historically accurate. They just use events and time periods as the setting for the game. The most historically accurate game, ac1, isn’t that accurate tbh.
Bahamut showed up like, "Nope, sorry! Wrong pantheon! This is mine!"

I was so hyped, I thought it was an ancient one, but then i saw this i was like what the hell was that. Ive only played ff7 but recognized that type of sword and the chocobo
I just completed this quest and had to watch it again. When I first saw it I did get Final Fantasy vibes. And although I'm not super familiar with the franchise. That flying things sword charge and delivery was like "wtf? That's out of character for this game". I thought it was gonna be some Animus crossover nonsense.

As someone who's not into Final Fantasy, I was **so confused** when this sequence happened. Thought this was some actual AC Lore with a member of the precursor civilization. Then I saw the weird japanese-mech armor coming from the sky with the sword spell and sh!t and I was like "woah, AC Lore really became a big piece of cr@p in an instant".
