Thank you Todd, excellent video as always. A good friend of mine has a freeze dryer and his daughter uses it for her business selling candy (freeze dried skittles, milk duds, and taffy are amazing btw) she makes quite the killing at fairs, craft shows, and farmers markets. His model is a different brand and costed about 3k, he specifically bought that one because it had a feature where you dont have to change the oil frequently or after every use. Anyway, excellent review.
Can do alot of eggs.!!! Those trays are wider then the one's from HR. Love the idea of vacuum sealing the jars. That would be cool. HR used to have option for pre freezing foods but there were so many problems where people didn't have the food frozen fully so it did not FD right. Just did a batch of eggs yesterday and will do more tomorrow. Thanks for sharing. God bless and protect.
I bought one of these and it works well but there are some things I just don't like. But it does it's job and does it well! One of the things I hate is I can't get the tray holder out. The connector takes a magician to get apart! They didn't offer me any suggestions on how to make it easier.
Ok, as I start to view this I see a major no-no in lifting a very heavy object...not enought leg support and dude!, please always wear sturdy shoes/footwear, those socks could have created a nightmare of an injury😮. Stay safe. Time 1:41 - I guess the general public has decided to freeze drynfood🤔 concidring the process has been around since the mi,itsrynfor made freeze dried Meals Ready To Eat(MRE) Way back in mid 1900's era. Personally I prefer a dehydrator which be smaller and easier let alone more economical. Lol, that water bucket looks like a countertop clothes washing bucket🤣
I just do not understand why you put everything in a bag to just get all mixed up. When you go to rehydrate it is it not going to be a big gloopy mess? I guess I am old school and want everything separate. Different things use different amounts of water or broth to rehydrate. Otherwise a good video.
I did some bags separately and some that would be a grab and go “email in a bag”. Those would be good for camping or hiking, just add water, warm it up, and eat all mixed together

Thanks for video,very informative 😮😊💜
How loud are these when they are running, I want one but no "room" to hide it away that's easily accessible.
I bought mine early and they didn't give any of the extras then. I wish they would make it retroactive.

Way more expensive. Why would i bother with a new brand that is almost double the price? Yeah no...

I don’t think so
Not cheap over $5000
I think those machines are awful and un healthy 😮
What is your opinion based on?
Why?
I imagine eating that machine would be distasteful and unhealthy. 🥴
