Mdm Rose & Ouryhaan Story

Two years ago, single mother Rose started to find patterns in her son Ouryhaan’s behaviour: he often did not respond when called and had trouble communicating his needs.
Rose found it difficult to find suitable intervention for Ouryhaan. The costs would either put a further strain on her tight finances or the waiting times to get intervention would be too long.
She was finally referred to Care Corner Learning and Special Needs Support (LSN) by her social worker.
Watch this video to see how Ouryhaan has improved his communication skills and cognitive functioning through the LSN Intervention Programme. He can now say “I love you” to Rose.

Rose’s dream is to see Ouryhaan pick up a storybook and read it to her. This dream now feels palpably within reach.
