We talk about several amazing outdoor options to explore too. There’s Grand Falls, which is lesser known than Niagara Falls, but is actually taller than Niagara! There’s also the Lava River Cave, where you’ll be able to wander inside a cave that was formed long ago by hardened lava, giving the walls an almost water-like appearance. Then there are fun outdoor adventures like skiing or snowboarding in the Arizona Snowbowl, or, on warmer days, hitting up Flagstaff Extreme for some ropes challenge courses and zip lining above the tall pines.
When you’re ready to learn, you’ll also be able to hit up the famous Lowell Observatory, home of the discovery of Pluto! And these are just a few of the many amazing attractions and sights that Flagstaff has to offer. It’s a great place to spend several days, especially since there are so many fun outdoor activities to check out. You won’t want to try to jam them all into one day, trust us! Have you gotten a lot of snow so far? I'm driving through later in January and am a bit worried about heavy snowfall.
@@eMegMBea No snow on the ground in the city limits, and all of the interstates have been clear. There could be snow on Thursday, the 4th.

I'd like to live somehwere like flagstaff. They get 100 inches of snow per year.
Does it snow a lot in the winter months? Is there snow now? I was planning to come through later in January and have wondered about the snow situation.
Wait so most of the things to do in Flagstaff is really not in Flagstaff? I am confused. And other things are really not unique to that area other than the telescope. Makes me want to visit.
It’s in the flagstaff area
