  • Solar panels have been fixed to the roof of Koch Goma primary school, in Gulu Northern Uganda, sourcing electricity for light and powering our Kio Kits, network connection, a TV and laptops for the first time in Koch Goma school history.
Many of the school's classrooms are old, run-down buildings with uneven flooring and corrugated iron roofing. Despite its poor appearance, the staff and students at the school generate an uplifting and progressive atmosphere. The school is passionate about addressing equality within its teaching and learning. Excitingly, a partnership with Koch Goma's local district council has led to one of the most unusable classrooms in the school being renovated and transformed into an ICT hub.
A big thank you to our three main supporters of this project, Grosvenor Church Bideford, Nobel Prog.com and Nat and friends. Their donations have truly made a phenomenal difference, providing educational opportunities through electricity and technology for the first time, to the 850 children enrolled at this poor, rural primary school.
