Many of the school's classrooms are old, run-down buildings with uneven flooring and corrugated iron roofing. Despite its poor appearance, the staff and studen...

John's Story
มุมมอง 1512 ปีที่แล้ว
John was determined to go to school and spent his childhood working hard from dusk until dawn in an attempt to raise funds for his own school fees. At a young age, John’s days consisted of early mornings, planting and hacking down sugar cane, to then wheel it into the nearby trading centre in the hope that he would earn a small income. Edukid heard about Johns situation and started to support h...

    If you are politically correct type, don't read this! How come, that most "war lords" are in most cases black? Which country in Africa, where blacks rule is a democracy? Name one neighborhood in the US or in EU with high percentage of black population that could compare with a "white neighborhood" as far as crime is concerned? Show me one prison/jail in the US where there are only 10-15% blacks. I know, they are all innocent and the police are picking on them because of their skin color.....

    • @commando414
      @commando414 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This was 11 years ago, and I think what I said was stupid. Not entirely though, because I should remove "America" and rephrase it saying that people that care about children and want to do something about it should do so. They should be well fed and given better clothes. Or at least the clothes they need, nothing fancy at all, just something that fits the places they live in. Aside from that, I don't want the children to starve. But politics usually get in the way. Not the only thing though, but still. We live in a dark world anyway.

    You should have a banner appearing with edukid website details over the phone number, as the phone number is no longer in use. For the record this was edukid's number and not a scam. edukid give 100% of donations to Uganda straight to the child - which means all edukid workers are volunteers, hence a mobile number. Its something we are very proud of. Chris Turner edukid Chair
