A recent report by CBS said 2027. It’s a little ways to go, however, it’ll open around the time that the Andover service begins. 2027 will be an exciting year for NJ passenger rail.
It's just fantastic to see passenger rail construction going on in this country.
Great, but why are they building this new bridge as a lift bridge? Why couldn't they build a higher one like the new Portal bridge?
@@MrSeebsy Good question. I'm not sure about the answer either.
Both ends have stations and towns that are low to the ground, there's no room to elevate in either direction.
