I traded the cr for a couple reasons and I couldn't pass up trading for a 09 450. It's my favorite body style and at the moment the 450 is getting a new cylinder and top end. For what I'm into the 450 for it's a steal. For everyone who wants to see more 2 stroke shit, the rm is getting a full make over very soon!
I would also change crankshaft bearings and the connecting rod..

Its a positive thing for the buyer. It allows you to see any oil leaks, etc. Rather than turn up to inspect the bike and any oils leaks have been degreased and washed off.

Tyler . You do realize you are suppose to leave your chain abit lose right ? If you tighten it right up and then go ride it expect to come back with a stretched chain what do you think the chain does when the rear suspension hits a bump or you hit a jump or something it pulls the chain abit while suspension moves . Sit on your bike with a lose ish chain and bouch the suspension while your on it and you'll see exactly why you should leave it lose .
New piston and rings should fix the smoking issue, take a look at the head while you're at it too.

Maybe I’m wrong but that seems like the valve seals are shot. Which could be directly correlated to a lack of regular valve maintenance. Sick bike though! Sort of wish he kept the yellow.

I thought it looked sick with the graphics once the black rims were put on in my opinion.

Hey I'm from Canada here and when I heard you got the 450 for $1600 I almost choked. I've only seen 450's go for ~$8000 and up on craigslist in an around my area. Does anybody have any good second hand sources I can look at for buying a 250cc, 450cc dirtbike?
maybe 8000 for a brand new one lol wtf? 450's here where i am in canada a used one is around 1800-3000

Probably needs new piston/rings they are most likely shot. When its puffing like that it means oil is getting past the rings causing smoke.
