Amazing suite. People say space is limited on cruise ships. It really all depends on how much you are willing to pay.

20 years ago my parents stayed in this suite. My mother was hanging out in the hot tub not wearing much clothes and when she got out of the tub she realized that it’s not very private. She got hollered at by the many people on their balconies above us. This was a story she kept telling us for years. The suite was decorated very differently back then. I remember lots of shiny dark woods. We got a deal because cruisers were worried to sail in 2000 because of Y2K. The kids stayed in the sky suites. Cruisers beware, the deck is not private and you can out a show on for the cruisers above you.

Lots of very private spaces including the massive interior jacuzzi. The deck is so large that the outer part would be seen from above, but your choice as to where to spend the time :)

@@HarrTravel if you have an outdoor jacuzzi, you’re using the outdoor jacuzzi on a cruise ship. It was her first time on a cruise and didn’t realize her deck was visible from the higher floors so …..

One fun part of staying in this suite is that when the attendants prop the door open when they are cleaning, other passengers tend to wander in and look around. First time it happened, it was kind of shocking. Then you get used to it.
While 2 additional people _can_ sleep in the living room, it's not ideal for them. It puts them in the middle of traffic, lacks privacy, and the usual bedroom amenities are pretty far away. It's better suited for 2 people, sleeping in the actual bedroom, who intend to use it to host gatherings for larger groups. TBH, if it were just me and another, and no large group to host, I'd probably opt for a Royal suite instead on this ship. Unless you're not on speaking terms with your traveling companion, this suite is just too big to feel intimate, and can be uncomfortable in some ways (like, the living room TV is so far away from the sofa that you lose that "big screen" feel). You also have to be aware that because it's so big, and has so many windows and so much outdoor space, it can lack privacy. A lot of the balcony is visible from above, and all of the balcony (and that indoor jetted tub) is visible nearby ships / buildings when you're in port. Plus, if you're using it for hosting, you lose privacy there, too. It's also not a great cabin if you have young kids. Just too much space to monitor for safety.
My favorite part about this suite has always been the _HUGE_ wrap around balcony. In terms of expanse, I think it's even bigger than the Garden Villa on NCL, though it doens' t have all of the amenities of the Garden Villa. The Millenium Penthouse suite balcony takes up half of the back of the ship (minus space set aside for a stairwell that's an emergency exit from the main dining room). The wrap-aroundness is really great for sightseeing (like glaciers in Alaska or the technology of the Panama Canal or Sydney harbor), especially because the outdoor jetted tub is positioned at one corner so you can sip and soak while seeing the sights. And if watching the wake vanish into the horizon is your thing (like it is for me), I can't think of a better place to do it. (The attendant will make up a bed outside if you want.) The other main attaction of this cabin for me is the HUGE, luxurious main bathroom. It's so much fun to soak in that indoor jetted tub and look out that huge window.
Millennium is an old ship. This suite has gone through major redecorating. The dining table used to seat 10, and there used to be a grand piano (that played itself) where the exercise bike is shown in this video. There also used to be a dry bar on the balcony.
By the way, it's not shown in this video, but the butler's pantry has it's own entry from outside the suite, and has a full size fridge and an espresso machine, but no way of heating / cooking food.
Another thing this video doesn't show or mention is that the connected Sky Suite is an upgrade from the usual Sky Suite, so that the decor compliments the Penthouse suite.

I was wondering do you hear a lot of noise in the back due to the engines being there? Im contemplating booking it and I see your link here in the bio. Do you think this would be best for a luxury Alaska cruise ?

Danny, at 4:50, you mention the bedside light and phone, but neglect to mention to your viewers, anywhere in the video- that there are no USB outlets to be had in the entire suite (2019 refurb did what?) or a 110v usable outlet on that side of the bed. Also, in that br, you make no mention of the desk outlet (for the lamp) being 220v, and the hair dryer 110v- unusable for the ladies (or guys with long hair) whatsoever at the 'makeup' area. Good videos from you as a rule..really good, but this was a miss of info that should have been put out, imo.

My husband and I are currently booked on the Celebrity Suite for June 13 for Alaska. I have been wondering if trying to upgrade to Royal or this suite is even worth the money ? My husband’s parents are traveling with us and I was thinking a larger veranda might be nice to host a quiet family gathering in the evenings.
