I love how your videos show techniques without pushing particular products. It makes me think about what I have and how to use it in so many more ways without buying a new product. Keep up the good work. I want to learn the Clean & Simple method. Janis
Glad it was helpful! Thanks so much. x
Yes, the leaf dies were perfect. Love the color of the candles.
Thanks, Cindy! x
Cool ideas with the candles. -Sarah

It IS good when you have a die that can masquerade as something else. It’s even BETTER when you have a brain that recognizes that you have a die that can masquerade as something else. 🤔 You continue to amaze me. Mom had that ability, but I didn’t get that gene. Beautiful card, Natalie! 😊
Thanks so much! :)
Why didn't I think of that? So many moments like this watching you! But then it often leads to a 'brain wave' of my own. Thank you for all your tricks and tips. You manage to renew enthusiasm when my mojo is sleeping and enable crafting when the ol' bank account is closed for crafting stash....so clever....thank you! x

Love this and really like the jaunty angle you used for the candles. The idea of using the leaf dies for the flames is genius. Thank you really enjoyed this one with all the tips and tricks. Have a great weekend.

I really like the way you put sme green on the blue & vice versa and then the splatters.
Thank you!
I've done cardstock embossed candles before but I love creating your custom color for the candles with the added splattering! I usually just cut them using the trimmer, but I have that die to make strips and that will be my go-to from now on! Thanks for the ideas!
You're welcome! Thanks for watching. x

Great ideas, I need to make a card for my husband’s birthday and was wondering how to get candles without a die! Thank you!
Thanks, Mary! My pleasure. x
great card and an interesting way to use various embossing folders.
Thanks so much!
Lovely card. You could also cut a small heart die in half to create a flame! 🔥 Also if you have a laminator you can laminate just the front of the candles to make them shiny.
Nice ideas. Thanks so much! x
Such a pretty card! New subscriber. 😊
Thanks so much! x
The flames using leaf dies was genius! ❤😊

Lovely card. I have made something similar, however you took it to the next level with the paint splatters and embossing folders. Something for me to try next time.
Thanks, Kathy! Glad it gave you some ideas. x
Absolutely love this. Your background music is so relaxing too. Thankyou.

What a classy birthday card! Leaves for flames is brilliant. They worked perfectly.
I hope you and your Mum are doing well. Thinking of you.
Thanks, Jan! Things are stabilising with mum. She may be able to come home within the next couple of weeks. x
That is wonderful news! ❤
Cute card. I think I would have used gold, yellow or orange glitter paper if you have it for the flames as that is closer to their normal colors.
Thank you! Nice idea.
Love you're helpful hints at the end of the video along with the total video. Thank you. I do have a question on what mixed media paper means and where you purchase it?🤔
Mixed Media paper is designed to be used with all media. You can use watercolour, acrylic, pastels, coloured pencil, inks etc. It's a bit like watercolour paper in that it can handle lots of water. Inks tend to blend well on it as it is slower to absorb them than regular card. You can buy it from arts and crafts stores and from online retailers like amazon. The brand I buy is Daler Rowney Optima, but you may find different brands where you are. x
Brilliant!
Thanks! x
