Natalie, you are so amazing and creative!! I know I have said this before!! But I am always learning something new!!! I love that you show how to do make a card using things that were meant for something else!!! You are truly the BEST!!!
You are the first person I've ever watched who used mica powders with glue. It seems like such a simple idea, but its genius! I have tubs of mics powders from my soap making ventures. I didn't think about bringing them into card making. I love all of your suggestions in your video!! I want to go look through my dies to see what I have. I bought a mishmash bundle of dies on eBay and am learning as I go. This type of video is perfect for folks like me. Thank you, thank you!!
i like the idea of using the basic shapes and making them into something different! another great tip to hold the pen at the top tyvm for sharing this interesting video! its a neat idea to put all the flower dies together on a big magnetic sheet too
You are amazing! Your designs and thought processes are amazing! We really do not think enough about how to get the most out of our crafty stash. Beautiful cards. Thank you!!❤️xx
hello! a really great video showing the 'use your stash' alternatives! i have been inspired. sorry i can't share as i'm not on facebook. i think the dies you used today for the vases could also be inverted. have the decorative part of the rectangle ones on the bottom and the straight edge on the top. i'm so excited to try it out!
Fabulous look from ‘what you have supplies’! 🧡 I make succulent pots using a circle punch and snipping off a top and a bottom for a low wide rounded side bucket.
I love these, Natalie really beautiful. I only have a couple of The Shack mica powders but not in those colours, I might try painting with some metallic watercolours that I have. See how that goes. Thanks again!
Love your use what you have, but rather than just say, you go the whole hog and recreate the card. Please never change, I am so fed up with the new release and buy buy buy here on TH-cam. I am so easily influenced when I see a pretty card😂
Sadly, I often fall into the same trap. I Love, Love, Love your attitude of use what you have. Then you show us How to use what you have. Many utubers say the same words but Always use the newest release. Sigh. I do love pretty things. Your cards are among the pretty things I must have. So ... Off to search my stash and make some of my own. 😊 I had taken the teeny, tiny flower dies and put them all on one magnet sheet. It made it easier to actually use them. It made me so happy to see you do the same.🥰@@ematthews3267
Great ideas to use what you have . Reminded me of watching Natasha Foote . You’re both full of crafty goodness so we don’t buy everything out there to make lovely cards . I think gold , bronze or brass looking twigs , using metallic pen would look good too .
The “masquerade” card looks fantastic. I did see someone make a beautiful card recently using some vase dies & was lamenting that I didn’t have a set, but this is a fantastic alternative! I can also emboss my own patterns on my handmade vases using a dotting tool or bone folder or just an embossing folder. Thank you 😊
I really love that you show us how to use what we have in our stash. I love those vases and that you you added the butterflies. Bith cards turned out so lovely. TFS❤
Natalie, you are truly a crafting genius! Brilliant ideas using what we have! I appreciate that about your videos, that I don't need to "purchase" items in order to create your beautiful cards! Thank you again! ❤🎉
I love that you showed how to repurpose basic dies as vases. I also love the look of the mica powders as the vases, a use for mine languishing in the cupboard!
It's so wonderful that you offer a lot of alternatives! I love your creative eye for spotting new uses! I have this same die set, but now that I've seen your video, I want to try some pigments to get a pebbled look on the vases. Thank you! 🩷
Love your home made pots! I made planter boxes to put tiny succulent dies in,after embossing the brown box with a timber folder. Was really easy, thanks for your tip!
Another lovely card. Your creativity is amazing - I would never have thought of using a balloon or tag as a vase! Thank you for showing us easy alternatives.
Your creativity is amazing. I love that you show us the alternate method. This is very unique in our paper arts world. I so appreciate your videos. Thanks, Natalie.
That is a lovely card again. Thanks. I often use die cuts to add some texture to my watercolour painting that I turn into cards for family and friends.
Your dupe card turned out great! Thank you for the advice to look at our dies with fresh eyes 🤓
