I think if they truly support it and continue to add to an already great base you’ll be right. I hope that they have plans to continue to build this game up with new wrestlers, match types, etc Also this game could use a “CAW DLC” like Fire Pro Wrestling had with just like a bunch of new CAW assets to supplement the base game.

These hidden features are cool. I really hope they stay true to their word and update the game. Gameplay is superb. I havent ran into the glitches ive seen online. I own the game, but dont think its worth $60.
No Mercy did not use 8 bit tracks. They were the actual tracks just compressed. For example I typically get flagged on TH-cam for Ken Shamrock's Vol 3 version of Dangerous, Patterson and Briscoe's Real American by Rick Derringer and Cyndi Lauper (credited as Mona Flambe on The Wrestling Album.) The War Zone port had midi versions of both the Superstar themes and the original tracks for CAWS. The pop quiz mini game music doesn't vaguely resemble No Mercy's championship mode promo/cutscene music.
Hey speaking of that, does music in AEW game get you flagged? I am unsure so turned off in-match music and lowered the menu. Can it be turned of or on? Entrances are short enough I keep them on, it's the background that I'm worried about since cutting that out would be impossible.
@@KasumiRINA THQ specified the licensed tracks and the RTE intro will get you flagged. There's a jukebox where you can select and deselect songs. You can mute background music and you can change intro themes of anyone on the roster. Kenny Bomb uses the FTR theme for Punk, for example.
And it only used midi for the "original" themes, not the wrestler themes; it just used really short, heavily compressed loops of parts of wrestler themes. it also had entrance videos (which were essentially gifs)
There’s a nod to Angle vs Shane at King Of The Ring if you reverse the German Suplex on the screen you will belly to belly them through it on the last part
I don’t know if you covered it yet but if you play as Nyla Rose(and I think Riho but I can’t confirm it) in RTE. After the match for the 1st women champion. The game will play a clip of Riho winning the championship and becoming the first woman champion. I think it is cool they have those clips in there.
Orange Cassidy also says boy your heavy when suplexing someone. Jeff Hardy also when do his taught with do Gaga da ga. Mjf will also say don't do that or other things and Theirs a lot
There‘s many other, REAL wwe easter eggs. Undertaker‘s taunt (kneeling for the urn), or his old school. Entrance motions for hulk hogan. Roman reigns, and more. I do like the violence and most of the physics. I love the barbed wire. I only wish all those features were in 2k‘s game instead.
also you can add Props to entrances, like Security guards or Dancers, Horses and even Undertakers Druids with torches (while also add smoke and lighting)

When you go to the Superstars Info (where they have a little random fact, accolades, etc) for Sting it says "Mentor to Darby Allen". Misspelling Darby Allin's name
The 8bit isnt a nod to no mercy or games of that era, I remember they had their music with the exception of Revenge and WorldTour which used generic songs
For me, the game is just ok. I wish they went all out with the story as much as they did with the mini-games, and would I repurchase it? Yeah, but I'll wait till it was $30-40 dollars
WWE hasnt had the strap pull down since 2k19 but I agree I liked the feature and wish ether 2k or these guys brought it back never played 2k23 yet since my PS4 caught on fire so no idea if they brought it back over there yet
So you can't customize the rules during a match (which you could do back in the old, old N64 games they love) but you can choose to be vegan or not which influences nothing but a cut scene. Now I understand why the game is decent, but feels so lacking and empty. Priorities.
Yeah I've already deleted it. 12 tries in RTE to get Brodie and 12 times I get the Death Triangle block. 0 losses, 0 wins, doesn't matter. Call me when the game works as advertised.
I got Brodie on my first attempt at going for him. I played as Britt and won all my matches up to the PPV and then Dropped the title at the PPV and then beat Scorpio in the 2nd match. If you are champion after the PPV you will not get the Join the Dark Order path seeing that path involves the TNT title
@ajderoehn8429 Just did a quick run through RTE quitting all matches with Abadon and got the Join the Dark Order path, so odds are playing with a female character and not having a title at the end of the block is the easiest way to get the path you are looking for.
I got Brodie when I stopped following the guides on the internet xD I used Sammy and lost all Act 1 matches. You know you can lose match just by pressing quit match in pause meniu?

Wrong Kevin Steen (Kevin Owens) used the F5 in ROH/PWG and called it Deep Sea Diverticulitis in PWG.. Excalibur is a PWG founder so it's likely that they would have used PWG/ROH terms for wrestling moves since F5 is Brock Lesnar.
I COULD USE SOME HELP. I’ve been playing the game for a few days now and can’t figure out how to throw the opponent to the outside or throw them back into the ring. Every time Irish whip them into they just bounce off the ropes or apron. If anything knows how, that would be amazing (I’m on PS5)
I actually tested this game on cracked version and first day when played this feel sucks, but 2nd day this game is not bad and some fun, but still don't know it is worth to buy on Steam, because a lot of things looks unfinished as beta Version
