I imagine it as being an universal baseform for ammunition It still has to be refined into gunpowder, laser powder, casings, bolts etc Like molecular Lego for weapons
Ah yes, the classic field medic on a solo mission. Many a times have I forgotten to turn it off and put on a perk that can be used with bosco. My life for rock and stone!
my idea about nitra is it's really good as a "universal" 3d print material so whatever 80 nitra means in terms of mass is loaded onto a drop pod to print out whatever is necessary for the mission, and by mining 80 nitra the company makes back most of it's investment
21:54 “Drinks smart stout” aktually ☝️🤓 the Core stone being deposited isn’t by it being too dangerous. Which it still is. It is the fact that the core stone is EXTREMELY valuable. To the point they send an extraction imidietly after securing the stone. ROCK AND STONE brotha. Otherwise great video.
I've been fond of the theory that Nitra is a signal booster that when used in a certain quanity allows Mission Control to actually pinpoint where to drop the supplies (considering the issues with pinpointing lost drop pods in salvage missions.)
24:06 Well said. I got thousands of hours in DRG and I still learn something new/interesting pretty much every mission. Knowledge is power. So drink lots and lots of Smart Stouts 🤓
3:12 “It replaces most of the craftsman stuff with visions of 2 things that tend to destroy marriage” The fact you don’t even sound like you’re about to laugh is hilarious by itself.
I mean, to be fair Earth has a bunch of super different biomes so it makes sense that any alien world would have just as many. Star Wars did us all a disservice by popularizing single biomes planets Edit: I am pretty tired so if I misunderstood what you said I’m sorry
You're good! I just feel like they're all really close together, but I don't have a full map on the actual distances between everything on Hoxxes. The game would be kinda flawed though if it was all the same biome. Star Wars did a lot of disservices, but I do think it's still a pretty neat universe even if it hasn't been in a good spot for a bit. That's just me though
@ oh yeah I didn’t mean all Star Wars is bad, I’m only talking about the single biome planet thing becoming a common sci fi trope mostly because of it. It’s the most minor nitpick possible lol
"Friendly fire is normally not a problem unless there's a driller"
Guys, I think scout players are starting to suspect something..
My headcanon for the resupply is that nitra is functionally gunpowder so you have to get the nitra to cover the cost
Oh dude that's a great idea, and that makes sense why the price of resupplies wouldn't fluctuate during a mission!

Probably draws a parallel to the creation of real-life modern gunpowder which uses a material called "nitrocellulose"
ROCK AND... and... eh. ROCK! ⛏
lmao

You know I kind of consider the overclock forge a big 3d printer honestly, so this works!

If you're wondering about Hoxxees vs Hoxxis, they are both correct. Both the dialogue in game and the devs during livestreams use both.
That's a relief lol, I was worried about which was the correct way
