How to make Disco Ball in adobe illustrator

Why not do a verbal overlay describing step by step? I can't follow this at all.

My 3D menu is very different. This video is only 1 year old but still coudn't manage to get the same result. There's not so many option now to map the symbol on the ball like a UV. Like the map art section you used that I coudn't find anywhere

This menu is still available, just go to Effect > 3D and Materials > 3D (Classic) > Revolve (Classic)
