Beppu is the most hot springs in Japan! Visit the famous Beppu Umi Jigoku and enjoy a mud bath

Beppu has seven major hells, which are: Sea Hell (Umi Jigoku), Blood Pond Hell (Chinoike Jigoku), Tornado Hell, White Pond Hell, Oniishibozu Hell, Oniyama Hell, and Kamado Hell.
Among them, Sea Hell, Blood Pond Hell, Tornado Hell, and White Pond Hell have been designated as scenic spots by the Japanese government.
Beppu has a mysterious hidden hot spring that is a must-visit, which is the mud bath.
We took a bus from 'Beppu Bus Station' for about half an hour and arrived at 'Honbozu Station', then walked to the 'Bozu Jigoku Mud Hot Spring' for a mud bath.
After the mud bath, since 'Bozu Jigoku' and 'Umi Jigoku' are not too far apart, we chose to walk (about a 20-minute walk).
