Japan's oldest natural hot spring Chinoike Jigoku is the rarest red-colored hot spring

There are seven major hells in Beppu. They are: Sea Hell, Blood Pond Hell, Tornado Hell, White Pond Hell, Oniishi Bozu Hell, Mountain Hell, and Cooking Pot Hell (Kamado Jigoku). Among them, Sea Hell, Blood Pond Hell, Tornado Hell, and White Pond Hell have been designated as scenic sites by the Japanese government.
After visiting Sea Hell, we walked for about 10 minutes to 'Hikari Shokudo' for lunch. After lunch, we walked for about 7 minutes to the 'Kannawa' bus stop to wait for the bus to Blood Pond Hell. After about a 12-minute bus ride, we arrived at 'Chinoike Jigoku-mae'. We walked for about 20 minutes from Beppu Station to 'Taiho Ramen' for dinner.
