It was so nice to try these trains in january.Especialy I loved the Ben Gurion-Yitzak Navon /Jerusalem train.it took only 20 minutes...

Are the electronic signs on the platforms recent? I was in Tel Aviv in 2013 and did not see any electronic signs at the stations in Tel Aviv.

Well that is pretty weird, there were always electronic signs in every station there .

it's very hard to get an israel railways cab ride. you have to ask the passenger operation manager or the spokesman and the answer won't always be yes

good luck, don't ask the engineers/drivers directly. they are not allowed to bring anyone in without premission
