These Ruler fights gave me huge trouble, since I had no Avenger at the time. Especially the one in Agartha, it took HOURS of retries.

When I was first playing through the main story I did everything between London to Solomon in about a week so I could take advantage of the AP cost being reduced to essentially nothing and get a special SQ reward for main story completion that they were doing at the time. There were three fights I had genuine issues with - the final Goetia battle, the Babylon Quetz fight, and this one against Lancelot. No one really talks about the Lancelot battle like they do Gawain's, but if you're not intent on bringing an OP Support Servant with you through story missions he can take a while.
