Going back after a year. Still better than the two seasons that followed in my opinion. I remember how my cointern came up to me and told me that Urbandub will be featured with TRC here. This cover of Fools is just superb. Everything is perfect. Mabuhay ang OPM!

Coke, thank you for exposing OPM artists with this kind of approach. It shows talent, creativity and flexibility of our homegrown artists which are usually not appreciated completely by pinoys due to the standards in music mainstream media feed to us.

my points exactly. I am "NOT" implying that these previous musicians are not irrelevant anymore coz they will be forever legends and their legacy will be passed on. What i mean is that this is the time for newer musicians to take the center stage of OPM.
Take for example in the 90's wave like the E.heads, Rivermaya, etc.
In the early to mid 00's wave - Kamikazee, Udub, etc.
In todays era, there are many opm musicians today that have great potential that needs to be introduced more to the masses.

This is kinda sentimental to me. Growing up in music, I've always looked at Urbandub as the OG, the go-to musicians to listen to if you want to make it big in the industry. Which made me sad kase nga nag-disband na sila (personal reasons, syempre). I watched this video to see what the "new players" sound like. And no disappointment in that. Though not as half as musically proficient as John and Gab, they do play well.
Watching the whole video was like a slow transition, a passing of the baton, the father to his children. That last song perfectly sums it up. No matter what happens, music goes on. We just need to be as gracious as the older generations to welcome whatever music comes up. At the end of the day naman kase, it's still all about the music and giving you that certain feeling of joy that no other can give.

I barely listen and fall inlove to rock music or musicians. But this one is a killer, I love it when alternative crosses with heavy rock. The mix of regular intrsuments combining to the loud tune of the elctric guitars is really eargasmic. Hope they can get to do another collab with a different attack!
