    My comment didn’t show up. I found this so interesting about the Druze sect and I love how you bring in the plants and flowers ie mandrake and give us the historical and religious reference. Also so interesting to know about the Crusaders last stand against Saladin, time of year of the fight; very vivid, you can almost feel the heat and Saladin’s advantage against the overdressed Crusades.

    Fantastic video! Could you visit the prehistoric caves of mount Carmel - Tabun, Gamal, and El-Wad. Thank you so much!

      Hi Eugene, you have made some great suggestion for future videos. I will add to my list. Recording vids is on delay right now as I am guiding. Maybe during the fall. Thanks for your support.

      Is it possible to hire you for a personal video/zoom session? I would pay your normal in person fees. Let me know if we can work something out. Due to my circumstances regrettably I cannot physically travel to Israel. Hoping to hear from you. Scincerely, Eugene Miller.

    Loved the video, so interesting about the sect and about the biblical reference to the mandrake flower. I love how you share your knowledge of the plants in Israel and reference to their religious and historical uses. Always fascinating. Thank you David. Is the woman with you, your wife, you didn’t introduce her?

      Hi Marlene, thanks for watching and for your support. Yes, that's my wife Shiri, she appears in many videos, so it's kind of strange to introduce her every time.

    🤩😍🙀 what a breathtaking panorama…. all are close by: Mount Arbel, the Sea of Galilee, and Mount Hermon in the Golan Heights! I believe that close by is also Mount Thabor where the transfiguration of the Lord Jesus took place and where prophecy of Deborah the prophetess was fulfilled and the Israelites defeated the Canaanites ……..

      Hi. Yes, everything is so close and this time of the year it's all green and beautiful. Thanks for watching and for your kind comments. Take care 🙂

    Catholic mystic Maria Valtorta says that the Horns of Hattin is where Jesus preached the Beatitudes, and one tour guide on Facebook actually found the rock on which Jesus leaned upon as He preached

    Hi David
    Thank you for the video.
    How long did it take to walk up to the horn lookout.
    Where is the best place to park to access the walk?

    • @IsraelwithDavidHyman
      @IsraelwithDavidHyman  ปีที่แล้ว

      It took us one hour to reach the summit. You can either park at Nebi Shuwaib parking lot, or for a shorter ride, park near the beatitudes monument.

    I am interested in why that church feels that is the site.

    • @IsraelwithDavidHyman
      @IsraelwithDavidHyman  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Indigo. The Druze people do not call it a church, but a shrine and the final resting place of prophet Jethro. Thanks for watching. Take care
