- See why you can "Say 'yes' to any production." In the first of a series of 10 video chapters, Grass Valley product architect Mike Krim introduces the incomparably broad spectrum of functionality of Kayenne, the award-winning switcher.
I think this is one of the best mixers currently available. As ever, well done GV 😉
wooowww love this. i used blackmagic design 1 me switcher according ti my budget. wating for this big.
Looks like spaceship. You can fire up the death star with that thing!!!
In the original Star Wars, they used a Grass Valley 1600 switcher to actually fire the Death Star.
wow !!!!
look at the control panel pcb,it's like an arc
That was the intention so that a TD could actually reach all the buttons. The design was copied by another switcher manufacturer you may be familiar with.
@@grassvalleylive OMG GV answered me,I'm huge GV fan, I have a kahuna hahaha .Never saw arc pcb before, thanks for the info.
@@56335130 Of course 😃 It's actually the supporting frame that has the arc. Then each M/E bank is added...it's not one big switcher, but a lot of horizontal banks so it can be customized.
@@grassvalleylive ok understood,It's the force that bend the pcb ,the supporting frame is Mr. Bender, not the arc pcb manufactured
that's not the only thing in an arc, look at the cpu motherboard...
I think I'll stick with my GVG 110
Who's the guy in the video? I think he trained me or did a demo at NAB for me.
