    I am a Tulsan and am thrilled that the Bob Dylan Center is here. I was a fan of Dylan from the beginning, and now as I am an old woman of 80, I still listen to his music and am moved by it. I love the sound of his gravelly voice and the poetry contained in his music. He continues to inspire me to live my life fully and stand up for what is right.

      So true @sharonirvine6233. Have you seen the new biopic 'A Complete Unknown' which is released here in the UK newxt week?

    Great video mate. I'll come over one day. I've been to see Bob loads of times, mostly in Cardiff. I saw him in Nottingham on 8th November. He was great but I do miss seeing him front of stage with his guitar. The way he moved when he was stood singing into the microphone and meaning every word was always great to witness. Long live Bob Dylan.

      @roberthill7444 thanks 🙏 I was at the same Nottingham gig as you and marvel he’s still able to perform at all so many times each year. I still think the first time I saw him in Wembley Stadium 1984 was the best sharing the stage with Clapton, Taylor, Santana and Chrissie Hynde. Long may he run indeed.

    Really enjoyed this, Dave. Steven Jenkins' knowledge of, and love for Dylan is strangely moving. His authenticity really comes across and, as a Dylan fan, I found the interview fascinating. I'd love to visit the centre one day.

      @@BaggyTrouseredLizzie thanks so much for your kind words 🙏 It’s a very special place for sure and when you add the Woody Guthrie Center next door and the overall warm welcome you get in Tulsa I highly recommend you visit when you can 👍

      That’s a fantastic timeline you’ve given there! I would love to have gone back in a time machine and seen him in 66 and 76 but did start my journey with him live in 84 at Wembley Stadium 😊

    I saw Bob live in Nottingham Arena UK last night. He was fantastic, I feel so inspired by his creativity and ready to make the most of my upcoming retirement from working to earn. An Artist in so many ways who continues to make us think through a world filled with war, greed and pain. Wonderful thanks Bob xxx

    I love the part where Jenkins is asked to pick one favorite song. He begins with safe bet Like a Rolling Stone, but then gives us a terrific 3-minute primer on Dylan's discography and lists twenty more songs! And so it goes for us Dylan fans. Nobody can pick just one.

    The UK could have a Bob Dylan museum. You’d make an excellent curator Dave? I’m sure Steven Jenkins would support a partnership with the Tulsa venue to spread the word and make such a visitor centre accessible to European lovers of Dylan

    I can understand the Woody Guthrie archives would be based in Oklahoma but the Dylan Centre belongs in his own home state of Minnesota.

    • @smallbizdigitalmedia
      @smallbizdigitalmedia  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @gostrum1 that's a fair challenge but I believe Dylan wanted it in Oklahoma as a fitting tribute to Woody Guthrie who obviously inspired him at the start of his career.
