What about people who don't have phones or TV's. I feel like people don't think anything thorugh when they make decisions.

I was busy working and didn't notice the alert for the tornado warning in Parma Heights until the tornado was literally in my front yard. We were lucky it was an EF1. Had it been worse, ife be dead. We need tornado sirens and these cities are making a horrible mistake.

Most, but not all people have a cellphone… is the city going to provide phones to those who don’t have them???

People tend to ignore phone alerts, they've become too common place

Keep the sirens!and also upgrade the system! Iam certain the government offers grants and other aids fema etc it's there you have to go and get it! Phone alerts are a poor excuse for not being diligent!

Correct me of im wrong but...
Shouldn't the government (civil defence) be funding it cuz of the civil defense act?
Also in my opinion they should NOT silence them thats takeing away life saveing equipment honestly they should just turn the sirens off in thr winter amd back on early spring
