Question about the equation at 15:09: why is the radius raised to the fourth power in the die geometry constant if in the volumetric capillary tube equation it was raised to the third power?

To be placed in the desired operating point, you have to adjust the key parameters. Yes, once you are at the correct operating point you can check things given that you have proper monitoring tools. etc
Excuse me. How can I evaluate the c( geometry constant) of a die which combines a cylinder and a rectangular part at the length side? I haven’t found any useful information on internet.
Hi Pawan, line speed is the length of product/pipe coming out per unit time, isn't it? For example, 20cm/min or so. If you want to get the volumetric flow rate, you can find the volume of materials coming out for a given time.
You have the P in the extruder equation and also you can use Q=Av as well. By using these equations, you can calculate P given that you know the other related parameters.

Here, example considers a pipe extrusion process and A is the cross-sectional area f the pipe and v is the line of the pipe extrusion (how fast the pipe is coming out). Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for the clear explanation.
Could please help me with the reference books for purposes of citation.
thanks

can you work backwards starting from the operating point to find parameters given some parameters

Sir pls tell me on the video to how to calculate line speed of extruder machine.

how we determine P on extruder equation?

the A of what? and v is a velocity of fluids?, how we know that, because the direction of the fluid not straight right?

did u have a reference?
What do you mean by reference? You are looking for the solution to the question/example?

Dear Santosh, thanks for the comment and will give it a go once I have time..
Can you share contact number
I want to know transport rate issues
Thanks Mugesh, such issues could be really dependent upon the number of factors such as materials, machine geometry, set condistions, etc
