As someone who played a metric f ton of rock band growing up and still does, as well as festival and clone hero, I’m so psyched that people are getting into the peripheral music games stuff again. Praying for a new guitar hero.

At the moment, only guitars for Rock Band 4 work in Fortnite Festival, while Xbox 360 and PS3 guitars will not work. For PC, you have to use RB4 guitars for Xbox One/Series. PDP's new Riffmaster guitars coming out on April 30 will also work in Fortnite Festival (and RB4), and in the case of PC, you will also need the Riffmaster for Xbox One/Series.

You need a compatible guitar (Rock Band 4 controller or PDP Riffmaster) for it to work. They confirmed they’re gonna add more support for keyboard and other controllers though

This is true. PlayStation guitars don’t work on PC and I’ve heard of them not working on PS4. I feel like they rushed it out to meet the riffmaster’s release. The engine could also use some love but that’s to be expected. Bad misrepresentation on Epic and PDP’s part. If you are however able to play it, i mean, I enjoy it

I actually like the engine but yeah you have to already have the fret held down pretty early to hit fast chord changes and whatnot. No leniency whatsoever
