@John Saf this culture is the oldest dating bk thousands of yrs ,, it hs been invaded vandalised many times but still survives nd is rock solid nd kicking nd now growing even stronger.
@John Saf culture dies when their own followers stop appreciating it much, there is no other power behind it. This type of music and dancing which is basically Indian Maratha community culture was looked down upon in India some decades ago, Young men would often stayed away in participating in beating drums, dancing to their tunes. But Community that wants to survive find its ways, at start of Social media boom, few preserves of the community started sharing this music, dancing on all platforms so much so that it popularised all over the country and every kid on the street wanted to perform in one of these festivals whenever they could.
@John Saf OK, suppose today you remove all that external factor you're bothered about from the land, would that still prevent culture from dying? It's not gonna happen unless community that wants to preserve do something about it.
@John Saf our culture has survived 1000 years of continuous wars and invasions and still people think of our culture as weak. All invaders who came whether British or arabs they never ever defeated without help from some other king of our culture only. And i mean never. Not in a single war. All those wars they fought themselves they all lost or ran. Because it was either victory or death till the last man on battlefield. Even though britishers had guns but warriors of India never used guns as they thought of it as cowardly and fought with swords and arrows then also won. Then britishers changed their tactics and came to trade and then with the help of local rulers they ruled.

From the USA: I always find it interesting that when it comes to Hollywood/Bollywood, there is no competition. Bollywood actors must be able to act, dance, sing, and look great. If men aspire to be like them, they are seen as manly in every way. In the USA, dancing & singing makes you seem less manly a lot of the time. It's sad b/c they are missing out!
Singing is not required...it is all playback singing by playback singers. For lead heroes, usually acting, dance, fitness, good looks are required here...I say usually not always, as it depends on role.
That's just culture difference. In Western movies they show characters as cold and unemotionals who are in total control of their body language, they have to be perfect. While in indian or Korean movies charactors aren't afraid to show emotions and appears less than perfect.
The Golden Age of Hollywood had things like this. More talent was expected of the actors, too. Watch the stuff from the 40s and 50s. Even some 60s. Bollywood has brought back what used to make movies great.
I love how this song is so manly.. Pinga is the opposite, Feminine but with a lot of moves too.. Deewani is just so delicate, beautiful and well crafted.. This movie has it all.. Also had to read about Bajirao to understand the whole thing but this got me hooked into Bollywood movies..really loved it. Totally love your culture!..Cheers from Colombia!
bajirao ballaad bhatt ( thats his full name) was not just a peshwa but now he is an emotion ......emotion for courage ,strength ,smartness ,consistency..... his life stories gives me inspiration .......to be better at my work, work hard and smart ,be a better person and contribute for my country's success

Angelina T The main guy (Ranveer Singh) is playing the role of Peshwa Bajirao who fought 42 battles and never lost a single one. Here they are celebrating their victory over the Mughals (muslim empire). Peshwas were Hindu Maratha generals and they played a pivotal role in ousting the muslim rulers from India. If it were not for the Marathas, India would be an Islamic country right now.

He is not manly He did his Naked play boy shoot like a gay!
@@vaibhav8941😅oo😢😅😅
The Golden Age of Hollywood had things like this. More talent was expected of the actors, too. Watch the stuff from the 40s and 50s. Even some 60s. Bollywood has brought back what used to make movies great.
I love how this song is so manly.. Pinga is the opposite, Feminine but with a lot of moves too.. Deewani is just so delicate, beautiful and well crafted.. This movie has it all.. Also had to read about Bajirao to understand the whole thing but this got me hooked into Bollywood movies..really loved it. Totally love your culture!..Cheers from Colombia!

After seeing the Kings perform to this song on the 2019 World of Dance, I had to hear the whole song. Mannn this song is dope as hell. I can't understand a word of what they are saying but you can dance to it and it makes you hyper. I love it. Thanks goes out to The Kings for sharing your culture with us Americans. I think I found a different genre of music to dance to. Blessings to all.
This small flame has erupted into a huge fireball,
The safe of my heart has become filled (with happiness) today
This black night has become rainbow coloured
Look how badly we have defeated the enemy.

I feel the maratha power all over me whenever I listen to this song. And the music video is next level. Ranveer not only portrayed this music video as a dancer but also as a king. It's a tough job and he nailed it.
Bajirao wasn't a king, he was a Peshwa
@@AneeshJoshi oh yeah. Thanks for correcting dear.
@@hotboy1648 technically correct, yes, it was feudalism. Here's the thing, though - Bajirao had to fight for his ascendancy to Peshwa after Balaji Vishwanath. He defeated Trimbakrao Dabhade to gain the seat of the Peshwai, unlike a king who necessarily ascends to the throne through heredity. The post of Peshwa became hereditary in the Bhatt family only after Bajirao claimed the post and expanded the empire all the way to Attock.

Bro this is a type of success song by Indian 🇮🇳 Maratha Warriors
It's a victory song
They sing: Let's party, we've crushed our enemies! PARTY HARD NOW!
This is a song of Victory.....fight between Marratta and Mughals ......This is Great India ......full of Warriors....
This is New India ......and will Help everyone who is struggling for their life
And will vanish of -ve powers in the universe .....believe us we will be there for the rest of the world till our end.....Jai Hind🇮🇳💖
