Yay!! We love a happy ending. My husband and I loved watching this lambing 😊 you are so tender and caring with your sheep, your love for them and that "I see lambs" smile is what keeps us coming back ♡
I'm really enjoying these last several Shorts that are celebrating your successes!! I don't like to see you beat yourself up/get bullied online for being human, and dwelling on our mistakes isn't healthy. Thank you!!
That's got to be an incredible feeling bringing those ewes back to acceptable ketone levels and saving their lives. Well done, Sandi. Well done. ❤ Much love from Jo ❤️
Awwwwwwe, thank you so much Sandi! You are wonderful. I just love it when the baby comes out and shakes his/her head. And, those wiggly tails have me on the floor. Great job Sandi. I love your videos! So much fun! Off the charts hard work for you of course and hard work doing all these video’s on top of the loads of work already!! Wow. 😃😃😃 Sending love from Texas!! 😊
I love watching you with your sheep & lambs You are so knowledgeable, but more, you love each one and treat them with care and compassion, yet you have the strength to deal with the difficulties. I am in awe of you. Thank you for sharing this part of your life with us.
I swear everyone else is like “wow good job such cute babies”! Meanwhile my mind is like “while it is annoying to have our milk makers hanging off our shoulders giving us back problems… at least they aren’t between our legs like those poor mamas.”
So glad this rechecking, saved babies and moms. And I think you changed your feed situation...but seemed this part was better this round.... we learn new stuff everyday!! 😊❤
Watching you makes me so happy and i honestly just need you to make a teaching course on how to take care of these girls. You have so much compassion for each of them and its so amazing!
If their feed is too fluffy/bulky, they fill up fast because the babies are taking up a lot of room in their belly. So they're not getting enough calories to grow their babies, and the reproductive system says "We'll take the nutrients from the mother to grow the babies!" Which would be a good idea if it was only a couple days but a bad idea in the long run, because it's taking calcium from her bones and blood, making it hard for her to walk. (Calcium is part of how muscles contract) That's why Sandi gives them calcium for muscles and glycol for energy.
Sandy why are the little ones tail cut? You've probably answered this question but I'll try to find. I enjoy watching you as much as possible. I do love animals so much. I can tell ever time you're on you love those sweet lambs too! Thank you for everything!!
The tails are docked to prevent "flystrike"; that is, to prevent flies from breeding in the soiled wool around their rear ends. Commercial sheep have much more wool than their undomesticated counterparts.
So, if the two factors you suspected were the cause, then this momma weighed more than the close up ration could support even with a small number of lambs in the oven?
Darf man mal fragen, wo denn die vielen kleinen süßen Lämmer hingehen...bzw. an wen verkauft werden??? An die Lebensmittel Industrie....bzw. Schlachter??????
This lambing started out rough, but was so sweet ❤ Glad that you tested these ladies and got them on the road to recovery 🤕

Glad you took care of that
That's awesome! I saw the video of you finding out a good portion of them probably had it. I'm so happy you saved them! How do they get it though?

Noticing how your lambs birth more triplets this year. Is that because of the feed you were experimented with?
Well done Sandi
Gli animali vanno amati

That first baby just slipped dried on out there and the other one just needed a little help
Is it normal for sheep to have so many multiple births? Genuinely curious.
Hi,. How you use your hand for birht,. Its ok for sheep? If there is not normal delivery can we do?

What treatment have you provided ?
Do you keep the mommas that get pregtox?
What is the device you're using?
I've never seen so many multiple births. Are your sheep selected to have so many?
Where can I purchase the test you use for preg tox?
