Desperately needs to put other great cities like shanghai,beijing,seoul,bangkok,kuala lumpur,manila,jakarta,doha,abu dhabi,sao paulo,moscow,shenzen,guangzhou,chongqing,etc

That is nuts. It really helps giving the true scale of this tower.
I think in Paris it would be better placed at the La Defense district where all the big skyscrapers of Paris are located. I doubt in cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Tokyo they would be comfortable building a skyscraper as tall as the Burj Khalifa due to the threat of earthquakes. Dubai does have moderate seismic activity but certainly not enough to pose a threat to the Burj Khalifa.
Modern skyscrapers such as Burj Khalifa are built in a way that allows them to swing from side to side during an earthquake which prevents it from breaking. Modern skyscrapers can certainly survive very strong earthquakes.
Paris is garbage, unworthy of such a building.
Yes, earthquakes pose no threat to modern skyscrapers. With current technology, a skyscraper as tall as Burj Khalifa can resist an earthquake of 9.0 on Richter scale, skyscrapers are considered much safer than low-rise buildings during an earthquake. Tokyo had many much taller skyscrapers envisioned, such as Sky City 1000, Sky Mile Tower, X-Seed 4000, etc..
Seattle isn’t seismically active. Watching a scary TH-cam video on the cascadia subduction zone, does not paint a proper picture. Mount Rainier is nearby, but is not really active, and there are no other major faults in the area. Ive lived in Washington state for 42 years and never been any significant earthquakes. Looking historically as well, Seattle has suffered no more earthquakes than any other average city on earth. Also, it is technically impossible to be in a completely seismically inactive place, as the whole world is malleable and undergoing geological processes. But Seattle is in no way in an earthquake prone area. Quite the opposite actually. A large earthquake every many thousands of years (cascadia fault), and a volcanic eruption every 500-600 years, does not constitute “seismically active”. If that were the case very little would be built anywhere. And one could argue, that building a massive city in the middle of a desert isn’t very bright as well. If globalization breaks down, everyone in Dubai is dead….. sooooo… there are drawbacks to building everywhere.
It fits into the Chicago and Hong Kong skylines very nicely.

It actually looks like a New York building when you put it in the city. And when you put it in London, it looks like the shard 2.0
Was fortunate to visit BK back in late 2015. Because it's so offset it's really challenging to grasp the gargantuan scale of the tower for sure, though the newer districts and towers popping up around the tower now give it context more closely. Always amazing to see these comparison videos!
Burj Khalifa looks good in Chicago, New York, and Tokyo but I would love to see it in Atlanta, and the big cities in China.

Imagine your are the Indiana dunes at sunset looking at Chicago with the Burj Khalifa. That would would go crazy.
Looks spectacular almost anywhere so kudos to the elegance of the building in itself. Just a bit dubious of LA, Miami and Houston but that's largely just due to the awful sprawl those cities have anyway, which can't even be much improved by such a fantastic skyscraper.

I dont understand why would you place the tower right next to the Eiffel tower in Paris. La defense seems like the obvious choice. also why not midtown in new york, canary wharf in London or shinjuku/Marunouchi in tokyo?
Because the Eiffel Tower is the icon of Paris, it's the first thing that comes to mind when people think of Paris. La defense seems a better choice for a megatall tower, but the place is not known to some people and is a little far from the Eiffel Tower. However I agree with you that I should place the tower to more different neighborhoods, maybe I will do that in another video.

Because I heard that English is rarely used in Spanish world (this is an English video), so I thought very few people there would watch it. However, I've seen a lot of people from there asking about this, so I changed my mind, maybe I will make a second part of the video, with Mexico City and Monterrey included, or make a Spanish version of the video and include more Latin American cities.

Let's make it clear: the Burj Khalifa is a ridiculous building built in a ridiculous city by a craven, "me too" mentality populous, which understands design merely in brobdingnagian terms. Civic design, note, is completely lacking at ground level. The middle East was inattentive to the creation of Civic life in the Renniassance of Europe, and never aquired it themselves.

I would hate to see a building that tall in NYC. It's so obnoxious, as cool and innovative as it is. Midtown's skyline is already getting ruined by ugly looking corporate office buildings. It's losing its NYC charm.

Why our country always choose ugly skyscrapers to built . I don’t understand while Dubai and China have so many futuristic skyscrapers . But the important most skyscrapers were designed by New York and Chicago artchitects . Lol
If it were built in other metropolis, it would have a better view from the inside. RIght now, all you can see is a brown barren desert in the horizon.
